The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G has the stronger listed hardware for performance, screen resolution and refresh rate, optical zoom, battery capacity, and charging. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has the clearer long-term software commitment: Samsung promises up to six Android and One UI generations and up to six years of security updates. Which is better depends on your local price, matching storage configuration, and priorities.

The comparison’s chipset and AnTuTu figures favor the Motorola. Its listed score is 2,366,913, against 1,390,055 for the A57. Treat that gap as an indication, not a dependable prediction of everyday speed: the Motorola figure is based on fewer than three benchmark samples, while the Samsung figure uses 13. The results are not a controlled test of both phones under the same conditions.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The listed configurations also differ—12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage for the Motorola versus 8 GB and 128 GB for the Samsung—so this is not a like-for-like memory comparison. For apps, games, or long-term multitasking, check the exact configuration sold in your market rather than assuming every version matches these listings.
How do their screens compare?
The Motorola listing gives it the larger and sharper panel on paper: 6.8 inches at 1272 × 2772 resolution and up to 144 Hz. Samsung confirms a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with refresh rates up to 120 Hz in its US announcement. Motorola therefore leads on the listed resolution and maximum refresh rate; those numbers alone do not establish which screen looks better. Panel quality also depends on factors such as brightness, color tuning, and viewing conditions.

Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
The clearest hardware distinction is zoom. The Motorola comparison listing includes a telephoto camera with 3.5× optical zoom, which can frame distant subjects without relying solely on digital cropping. The Samsung listing names a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro camera.
Both listings include a 50 MP main camera, but megapixel counts do not determine image quality. The listed camera hardware does not establish which phone takes better photos in daylight, indoors, or at night.

Battery capacity and charging: Motorola has the listed advantage
The comparison lists a 6,500 mAh battery for the Motorola, with 90 W wired and 15 W wireless charging. The A57 is listed with a 5,000 mAh battery and 45 W wired charging, without wireless charging. These are capacity and charging specifications, not measured battery-life results; actual endurance depends on usage and testing conditions.
Which phone has the stronger update commitment?
Samsung’s US announcement says the Galaxy A57 will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. “Up to” is a ceiling, not a guarantee that every device will receive exactly that many updates on a particular schedule. The commitment is clearly stated in Samsung’s US announcement.

How much do the phones cost?
Samsung announced a US starting price of $549.99 for the Galaxy A57 5G, with US availability beginning April 9, 2026. That is the announced launch price, not necessarily the current sale price. The announcement does not establish a Motorola price for the US.

A 91mobiles search-result snapshot showed India prices of ₹56,999 for the A57 and ₹47,920 for the Motorola, both associated with Amazon. These are not verified current listings: the comparison page was unavailable when checked, and the prices may be stale or tied to different configurations. Do not use them to infer a general price advantage.
For a useful local comparison, match RAM and storage where possible, then check the current price, seller, warranty, and exact regional model. Different launch markets and configurations can change which phone is the better value.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Motorola based on listed hardware if you prioritize the higher benchmark result, higher-resolution 144 Hz display, 3.5× optical zoom, larger listed battery, or faster and wireless charging. Its benchmark sample is small, and the specs do not prove better real-world camera quality or battery life.
- Choose the Samsung for the documented support commitment if Samsung’s stated update policy and software ecosystem matter more to you than the Motorola’s listed hardware advantages.
- Compare local offers before deciding if value is the deciding factor. The available price references cover different markets and are not a verified, same-configuration comparison.
