Start with your iBUYPOWER order confirmation or invoice: find the exact system model or SKU, then check its product specifications for a “Case” entry. If you no longer have the purchase record, compare clear photos of your tower with iBUYPOWER’s case catalog—but treat a visual match as a clue, not confirmation. Windows hardware tools may show motherboard details; they are not documented as a way to identify the physical case.
1. Find the system model or SKU
- Check your order confirmation, invoice, or retailer listing. Look for the full system name, model, or SKU, not just the processor or graphics card.
- Search that exact identifier on iBUYPOWER’s product or support pages. Open the matching system’s specifications and look for a field labeled “Case.” A model-specific listing can name the chassis directly; for instance, an official system specification identifies an “iBUYPOWER Element Pulse X Gaming Case – White.”
- Check that the listing matches your configuration. Similar system names can have different configurations, so prefer the exact SKU or order record over a broad product-family page.
A PC case is the physical chassis or enclosure—the tower surrounding the components—not the motherboard or the system’s overall model. iBUYPOWER’s glossary explains the related terminology at iBUYPOWER support.
2. Identify it by appearance if you cannot find the SKU
Take well-lit photos of the front, side, and rear of the computer. Compare these details with the models shown in iBUYPOWER’s case catalog:
- Front-panel shape, mesh pattern, and openings
- Side panel or window outline
- Trim, lighting placement, and distinctive accents
- Any model label or marking on the chassis
Use several details together. The catalog includes multiple case families and third-party cases, and two enclosures can look alike without being the same model. A visual comparison narrows the possibilities; it does not establish an exact match.

3. Ask iBUYPOWER support when the answer is still unclear
Contact iBUYPOWER through its support page and provide your system’s exact model or SKU, order information, and a photo of the case. The serial number is printed on the rear of the chassis. iBUYPOWER’s Canada warranty policy lists the serial number and proof of purchase among RMA details, but it does not promise that a serial number alone will identify every case model. Older or custom configurations may require additional confirmation.
Can Windows tell you the case model?
Not through a documented general-purpose lookup. Windows System Information and BIOS can provide motherboard or system information, but the iBUYPOWER guidance found for Windows identifies motherboard details—not the physical enclosure. In particular, the Baseboard Manufacturer and Baseboard Product fields in System Information refer to the motherboard. Device Manager and msinfo32 should not be treated as reliable case-model identifiers unless documentation for your specific PC says otherwise.

Before buying a replacement case
Do not order a replacement based only on appearance or on a guessed model name. First confirm the existing chassis from the exact system specification or with support. If more than one candidate remains, check the dimensions and component fit—including motherboard form factor, graphics-card length, fan and radiator positions, and front-panel connectors—against the replacement’s specifications.
iBUYPOWER announced the Slate 9 Mesh, Element 9, and Element 9 Pro case lines on February 27, 2025, for its configurator and Gear Store. That launch announcement is dated context, not confirmation that a particular older desktop used one of those cases or that a model is currently available.
