There is no official notice in the available event announcements saying that Final Fantasy XIV players have 24 fewer hours to complete either current collaboration. The separate 24-hour maintenance scheduled for October 12 does not announce a change to either event’s posted end date. The two collaborations have different deadlines: A Nocturne for Heroes ends October 13, 2026, while the Fall Guys event ends October 27, 2026; both times are published in PDT.
Which FFXIV event deadline are you checking?
More than one collaboration is active in the official North American announcements, so the event name matters. The official schedules list these deadlines:

These are the posted dates, not evidence that either event received a shorter deadline. Convert the PDT end time to your local time if you are outside that time zone, and check the official event page for any later schedule update.

The official Lodestone news item reports a 24-hour maintenance period on Monday, October 12, ahead of same-region player matching becoming available for the Japan data center on October 13. It does not say that either collaboration’s end date is being moved or that the event window is shortened. Read the Lodestone news notice.

So the maintenance duration and the “24 hours fewer” claim are separate facts unless an official update explicitly connects them. The cited event announcements retain their listed end dates; they do not establish that players lose a day of event access.
What can you still earn or resume?
A Nocturne for Heroes
The FFXV collaboration features the Regalia Type-G four-seat mount, the Lucian Prince costume set, Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks, and orchestrion rolls. If you completed the event during an earlier run, the announcement says you can replay its quests using seasonal event replay.

Fall Guys
The Fall Guys collaboration is an in-game Gold Saucer attraction, with attire, a mount, and framer’s kits among its rewards. Its announcement says the collaboration will return as a special event at irregular intervals after this run ends; it does not give a date for a future return.

Can I still get event rewards after the October 12 maintenance?
The maintenance notice does not state that either collaboration deadline changes. The posted FFXV deadline is October 13, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT, and the Fall Guys deadline is October 27, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT.
