There is no overall winner: eVPS.net is the closer fit for a European KVM VPS with specified compute resources, while InterServer Standard Web Hosting is the more direct option for a managed website account with email, a control panel, and migration help. These are different products, so their entry prices are not an apples-to-apples comparison. Prices and features below were checked in October 2026.
Which host should you choose?
- Choose eVPS.net if you want a VPS listed in the EU, need KVM virtualization and root-level server control, and are prepared to administer the server or arrange management separately.
- Choose InterServer Standard if you want conventional managed hosting for a site and email, with a control panel, weekly backups, and migration assistance rather than a VPS to operate.
- Compare InterServer Cloud VPS with eVPS if your requirement is specifically a VPS. Match the number of resources, region, management, support, and backup terms before comparing cost.
The available provider information does not establish which service is faster or more reliable in comparable independent tests. Choose by product fit and verify the current checkout terms rather than treating a low advertised starting price as proof of value.
What are the actual plans and prices?
The prices below are listed by the providers and were checked in October 2026. They use different currencies and do not represent equivalent hosting products. eVPS states that its prices exclude VAT; confirm taxes and final charges at checkout.

Do not confuse InterServer hosting pages
InterServer has a separate older hosting page listing a $4.95 monthly price, cPanel, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Those details are not the same offer as the Standard Web Hosting page above. Make sure any comparison uses the same product page and plan rather than combining features or prices from both.
How do the hosting types differ?
eVPS.net: a virtual server to administer
The surfaced eVPS package is a KVM virtual private server. It supplies virtualized compute resources, storage, bandwidth, and backups, but the offer is not presented as a managed shared-hosting account. A VPS gives you more responsibility for server setup and maintenance; check what support covers and whether you need to arrange server management separately.

eVPS says its VPS connection is shared at 1 Gbps, with 100 Mbps guaranteed. The 1 Gbps figure is not a promise of dedicated 1 Gbps throughput. The provider also lists one IPv4 address, a /64 IPv6 subnet, and a free cloud firewall for each VPS.
InterServer Standard: a managed website account
Standard Web Hosting is the closer product for someone who wants to host a conventional site and email without administering a virtual server. The listed package includes DirectAdmin, weekly backups, migration help, and a Cloudflare CDN. These features make it a more suitable product match for many beginners, though the monthly renewal price—not just the introductory first month—belongs in any budget comparison.

InterServer Cloud VPS: a separate VPS product
InterServer Cloud VPS is distinct from Standard hosting. Its one-slice entry point lists root access, 1 core, 2 GB memory, 40 GB SSD, and 2 TB transfer. The provider says managed support is included at 8 or more slices; do not assume that a one-slice VPS includes the same management as Standard Web Hosting. The Cloud VPS page also offers Linux and Windows paths and control-panel options, so check the selected configuration and any associated terms.
Which option makes sense for a European audience?
eVPS lists an EU location and identifies Bulgaria as its main data-center location. It describes the facility as Tier 3+ and says it is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013; treat those facility descriptions and certification claims as statements by eVPS.

- Dual-band Wi-Fi with 5 GHz speeds up to 867 Mbps and 2.4 GHz speeds up to 300 Mbps, delivering 1200 Mbps of total bandwidth¹. Dual-band routers do not support 6 GHz. Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- Covers up to 1,000 sq. ft. with four external antennas for stable wireless connections and optimal coverage.
- Supports IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge and Tag VLAN to optimize IPTV streaming

The surfaced InterServer VPS information identifies US regions in NYC, Dallas, and Los Angeles. Confirm which locations are currently available during checkout. A server’s geography can matter for latency and data-location requirements, but the available information does not provide comparable independent latency measurements for either provider.

What should you check before choosing a VPS?
Virtualization and operating system
The eVPS package page describes KVM. In its virtualization comparison, eVPS says KVM is fully virtualized and can install a full operating system, including FreeBSD or Windows. It describes LXC as sharing the host kernel and says LXC is not cPanel-compatible. Do not assume those options are interchangeable: confirm the virtualization type on the exact plan you intend to buy.

- PLUG-AND-PLAY UNMANAGED NETWORK SWITCH: Simple plug-and-play setup with no software to install or configuration required.
- FLEXIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS: Compact metal design supports desktop or wall-mount placement for versatile installation.
- SILENT & ENERGY-EFFICIENT OPERATION: Fanless design ensures silent performance, while IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet reduces power consumption without compromising high-speed network performance.
- REGIONAL COMPATIBILITY: Made for use in U.S. & CA only
InterServer Cloud VPS offers Linux and Windows compute paths, but the suitable choice depends on your software, licensing, and support needs. Verify the exact configuration and any licensing terms before ordering.
Email and outbound mail restrictions
eVPS’s FAQ says SMTP is blocked on its 1- and 2-CPU packages and that sending more than 100 emails per day is considered spam under its policy. If your application needs outbound mail, check the current policy and plan limits before deployment; these restrictions could rule out a plan even when its compute resources are sufficient.
Backups, recovery, and support
eVPS lists backups as included with the entry KVM plan, while InterServer Standard lists weekly backups. Those descriptions do not establish equivalent backup frequency, retention, or restore procedures. Before choosing either service, check how long backups are retained, whether restores cost extra, and how you can recover data after an outage or accidental change.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Support also depends on product and configuration: InterServer’s stated managed support threshold for Cloud VPS is 8 or more slices, whereas its Standard hosting page lists migration help. Ask what help is included for your actual plan rather than assuming that support for a shared account applies to a VPS.
How to make a fair comparison
- Match the product. Compare eVPS KVM with InterServer Cloud VPS for a server-to-server decision; compare eVPS only with a managed hosting product if you are willing to account for the difference in administration.
- Write down the workload. Estimate required CPU, RAM, storage, transfer, operating system, and whether you need root access, a control panel, or Windows.
- Choose a location. Confirm the actual region available for the chosen plan, especially if your users or data-location requirements are in Europe.
- Compare recurring cost. Use the renewal or recurring price, billing interval, currency, and applicable tax. eVPS’s listed prices exclude VAT; do not compare its euro amount directly with a dollar price as if they were equivalent.
- Verify operations and support. Check management scope, backup retention and restore steps, migration assistance, network terms, and any email restrictions before committing.
- Test the workload when possible. The provider details here do not establish comparative speed or uptime. For a production decision, evaluate the software and location you will actually use rather than relying on an unsupported winner claim.
Verdict by use case
For a European deployment that needs a KVM VPS with stated NVMe resources and root-level control, eVPS is the more directly aligned offer—provided you are comfortable with server administration and verify VAT, support, backups, operating-system options, and email policy. For a site owner who wants email, a control panel, migration assistance, and weekly backups without running a VPS, InterServer Standard is the closer fit. If you want InterServer’s VPS instead, compare its specific slice configuration and support terms with the eVPS plan rather than with InterServer’s shared-hosting price.
