Enshrouded is scheduled to leave Early Access and launch as version 1.0 on October 15, 2026. Keen Games announced the date for Steam on June 25, 2026; the official release-trailer description also lists PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro for October 15.
When does Enshrouded leave Early Access?
Enshrouded is scheduled to exit Early Access on October 15, 2026, with its version 1.0 launch. In its June 25, 2026 announcement, the Keen Games team said, “Enshrouded releases out of Early Access on Steam on October 15th!” Keen Games’ announcement and the Steam store listing give the same date.
This is the full-release date, not the start of Early Access. The game first became available in Early Access on January 24, 2024, according to Steam.

The dated announcement specifically names Steam. Separately, the official release-trailer description lists “PC, PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 5 Pro” alongside the October 15 date. That supports a planned release on PS5 and PS5 Pro as well as PC, but the announcement page itself does not specify those platforms. Neither of these official sources establishes an Xbox release date.

What is Enshrouded?
Steam describes Enshrouded as a co-op survival action RPG. Its store listing says it supports single-player and online co-op, with co-op for up to 16 players. See the Steam store listing.

The June 25 announcement said more information about improvements, optimization, quality-of-life changes, and other additions would follow later in summer 2026. That announcement does not provide a detailed feature list, so it does not confirm which specific changes will be included in version 1.0. Read the announcement about further updates.
