What to use for a continuous playlist broadcast
Investigate an encoder-based YouTube live stream rather than a Premiere. In this separate workflow, an encoder sends a live feed to YouTube using a stream URL and stream key. Plan for the parts YouTube’s encoder guidance does not settle
- Playlist repetition: Confirm that the software or other source feeding the encoder can play the intended items in order and repeat them continuously.
- Recovery: Determine what happens if the encoder, computer, network connection, or YouTube connection drops, and how the broadcast resumes.
- Runtime: Check that your specific source and operating setup can sustain the intended duration. The cited YouTube guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
