If Distill.io checks fail while you are using Jio, start with the monitor’s Check Log and the exact error shown there. A failure does not by itself mean Jio is blocking Distill: the cause may be the target website, the monitor URL, authentication, Distill’s cloud checking environment, or the network path. Compare local and cloud checks, then follow the error-specific fix below.
1. Read the exact error in Distill’s Check Log
Distill’s troubleshooting guidance says the last check determines a monitor’s state and lists different causes and remedies for different errors. Open the affected monitor’s Check Log and note the error code and details before changing settings. That evidence helps separate a bad URL from a timeout, access restriction, proxy problem, or connection reset. Distill’s monitor error guide
2. Check whether the monitor runs locally or in the cloud
Distill checks can run on your device or on Distill’s servers. A local check depends on the relevant browser or app being open; a cloud check runs remotely and does not require your device to remain on. Compare the affected monitor’s behavior across those paths when possible. If one works and the other fails, that narrows the failing path, but it does not prove Jio is responsible. 3. Match the error to the likely cause
E_NOT_FOUND: verify the monitor URL and domain
Distill describes this as a domain that cannot be resolved or an invalid domain. Check for a typo, an incomplete address, or an outdated domain in the monitor settings. This error alone does not show that Jio blocks Distill, and changing DNS is not an established guaranteed fix.

E_TIMEOUT: identify which check path is too slow or unable to load
A timeout means Distill could not load the page contents within the available time. Possible causes in Distill’s guidance include a slow target response, rejection of some cloud IP addresses, and limitations when a local page loads in a background tab. Depending on the case, try a local check, a cloud proxy where appropriate, or set a webpage monitor’s dynamic option to true when the page’s loading behavior makes that relevant. A proxy can fail too; Distill identifies E_PROXY separately.
E_REQUEST_FORBIDDEN: check login, cookies, and site restrictions
The target may require authentication or cookies, or may be protected by a firewall or security setting. Confirm that the monitor has the required access and authentication. Distill suggests a proxy for some protected pages, but a proxy is not a promise or permission to bypass a site’s access controls.

E_CONNRESET: distinguish a reset from a name-resolution failure
A connection reset means the connection ended unexpectedly. Distill says server or network issues can be involved. Check whether the same destination works in an ordinary browser on the same connection, then compare local and cloud monitor results. The code does not identify Jio as the cause on its own.
E_PROXY: check the selected proxy path
This error means the selected proxy could not connect to the target; Distill notes that a proxy IP or location may be blocked. If a proxy is necessary for this monitor, try another appropriate proxy configuration. If you did not intend to use one, review the monitor’s settings rather than treating this as a general Jio failure.

4. Run Jio diagnostics if other internet use is failing too
If websites or services beyond Distill are also unreliable, check the connection itself rather than focusing only on the monitor. Jio’s FAQ describes the MyJio app → Run Diagnostics flow as a way to identify and resolve many issues involving home internet connectivity, router connection or health, and an existing outage. Jio also provides a general troubleshooting page and a support portal.
If ordinary browsing works and only a particular Distill check fails, return to its Check Log and the matching Distill error branch. The sources available do not confirm a Jio-wide Distill block or a Jio-specific compatibility defect.

5. Troubleshooting checklist before contacting support
- Record the exact error code and details from the affected monitor’s Check Log.
- Note whether the monitor is local or cloud-based, and whether the other type behaves differently.
- Confirm the monitored URL and whether the target requires a login, cookies, or another access condition.
- Check whether the same network has broader connectivity issues; if it does, use MyJio Run Diagnostics.
- If the issue persists, tell Distill or Jio support whether you use Jio mobile data or JioFiber, which monitor path fails, and the exact error. Those details are needed to investigate an individual case.
