The 91mobiles comparison gives the Dimensity 7300 Max a higher AnTuTu total and Geekbench 6 multi-core score, while the Dimensity 7400 Turbo leads in Geekbench 6 single-core and in that test’s GPU subscore. Those are reported results from real devices, not a controlled, matched-phone test, so they show a benchmark snapshot—not a guaranteed winner in every phone.
Dimensity 7300 Max vs Dimensity 7400 Turbo at a glance
| Comparison | Dimensity 7300 Max | Dimensity 7400 Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| Reported AnTuTu total | 983,589 | 960,651 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 1,003 | 1,060 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,869 | 2,826 |
| Variant specifications listed by 91mobiles | Four Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz; Mali-G615 MC2 listed at 1.047 GHz; LPDDR5 | Four Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz; Mali-G615 MC2 listed at 1.3 GHz; LPDDR5 |
The table’s benchmark figures are from 91mobiles’ paired comparison. Its listed variant-level specifications are third-party database details, not a detailed MediaTek specification sheet for each exact variant.
Benchmark comparison: what the scores show
AnTuTu
In 91mobiles’ paired results, the 7300 Max scores 983,589 and the 7400 Turbo scores 960,651. The 7300 Max therefore leads this comparison’s total. That total combines multiple areas of performance, so it does not mean the Max leads every component: the same test reports a higher GPU subscore for the 7400 Turbo.
| AnTuTu subscore | Dimensity 7300 Max | Dimensity 7400 Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 348,823 | 331,103 |
| GPU | 127,763 | 148,005 |
| Memory | 212,362 | 201,606 |
| UX | 294,641 | 279,937 |
Geekbench 6
The 7400 Turbo records 1,060 in single-core, ahead of the 7300 Max’s 1,003. The 7300 Max leads the reported multi-core results, 2,869 to 2,826. Taken together, these scores point to a close comparison with different leaders by test, rather than a decisive overall advantage.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Why these figures are not a universal chip ranking
91mobiles describes its scores as derived from real devices powered by the chipsets. The paired comparison does not identify a matched phone pair, software build, cooling setup, or repeated-test protocol. A phone’s implementation can affect benchmark results, and one database result is not a population average for every handset carrying the chip.
There is also a small reporting inconsistency for the Turbo’s AnTuTu score: 91mobiles’ paired comparison and its standalone benchmark table show 960,651, while the standalone page’s key-spec summary gives 961,546. The paired figure is used above to keep the comparison consistent. See the standalone 7400 Turbo page.

Specifications: verified family details vs exact variants
MediaTek’s specification pages cover the base Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7400. They are useful for comparing the documented chip families, but they do not establish every specification of the 7300 Max and 7400 Turbo variants. The exact-variant details above come from 91mobiles.
| Attribute | Dimensity 7300 (MediaTek baseline) | Dimensity 7400 (MediaTek baseline) |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 4× Cortex-A78 up to 2.5 GHz + 4× Cortex-A55 | 4× Cortex-A78 up to 2.6 GHz + 4× Cortex-A55 |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G615 MC2 | Arm Mali-G615 MC2 |
| Manufacturing process | 4nm-class | 4nm-class |
| AI | MediaTek NPU 655 | MediaTek NPU 655 |
| Memory support | LPDDR4x / LPDDR5 | LPDDR4x / LPDDR5 |
| Connectivity highlights | 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 | 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 |
These baseline figures are from MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 specifications and Dimensity 7400 specifications. The 7400 baseline lists a 100 MHz higher maximum frequency for its A78 cores; the same GPU name does not establish identical GPU clock speed or real-world performance. MediaTek lists LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 support for both, while 91mobiles lists LPDDR5 for the two exact variants. A phone’s implementation determines which supported memory and connectivity features it uses.

What MediaTek has said about the 7400 family
In its February 26, 2025 announcement of the Dimensity 7400 and 7400X, MediaTek said the first phones powered by those chips would be available in Q1 2025. It also claimed a 15% NPU performance improvement over the previous generation. That is a manufacturer claim about the announced 7400/7400X, not an independent test or proof of the exact 7400 Turbo’s performance. The announcement does not establish which handset was used for 91mobiles’ Turbo scores. Read MediaTek’s announcement.

These results alone do not settle a phone purchase. The 7300 Max leads two of the three headline results in the 91mobiles comparison, while the 7400 Turbo leads single-core and the reported GPU subscore. Which matters more depends on the phone and what you do with it; the available evidence does not establish that one variant will consistently feel faster or deliver better sustained gaming.

- Compare the exact phone models, not just their chipset names.
- Check each model’s memory and storage configuration, cooling design, display, battery, camera implementation, and software-support policy.
- Confirm network bands and carrier compatibility for your region; chipset radio capabilities alone do not determine reception.
- Prioritize sustained performance and independent testing of the actual handsets over a small difference in one database score.
