The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is the more capable chipset on paper: it has faster CPU cores, a higher-tier listed GPU, and 5G support. The UNISOC T7250 is an LTE platform with a less powerful listed CPU and graphics configuration. Available handset benchmark figures also favor the Dimensity 1300, but they are not controlled, chip-only test results.
Dimensity 1300 vs T7250 specifications
Manufacturer specifications show a substantial difference in CPU design, connectivity, and supported storage. Actual phone features still depend on how each manufacturer implements the platform.

Which chipset is faster?
CPU performance
The Dimensity 1300 has four Cortex-A78 performance cores, including one listed at up to 3.0 GHz. The T7250 instead has two Cortex-A75 cores up to 1.8 GHz, alongside six Cortex-A55 cores. On the listed specifications, the Dimensity 1300 has the stronger CPU configuration for demanding workloads.

Graphics and gaming
The Dimensity 1300 uses a Mali-G77 MC9, while the T7250 lists a Mali-G57 GPU up to 850 MHz. These specifications point to different graphics capabilities, but GPU names alone cannot predict frame rates or gaming quality in a particular phone. No same-method GPU test is available here; handset cooling, power limits, display resolution, and software also affect results.
Benchmark results
91mobiles lists the following device-based figures in its comparison. The page does not state the year for these results.
| Benchmark | Dimensity 1300 | UNISOC T7250 | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu | 607,013 | 381,574 | 91mobiles says its AnTuTu scores are drawn from real-world handset testing; year not stated. |
| Geekbench single-core | 854 | 441 | 91mobiles lists these figures, but the Dimensity page labels a Geekbench 5 screenshot and the T7250 page labels Geekbench 6. |
| Geekbench multi-core | 2,709 | 1,480 | The different Geekbench generations make this unsuitable as a controlled head-to-head. |
Source: 91mobiles’ Dimensity 1300 vs T7250 comparison. Treat the numbers as directional evidence, not scores every phone with these chips will achieve. The same 91mobiles Dimensity page lists a highest recorded result of 705,961 in its key specifications while showing 607,013 in its comparison table, illustrating that device results and aggregation methods can differ.

What the differences mean in a phone
5G versus LTE
The clearest everyday distinction is network capability: the Dimensity 1300 supports 5G, while the T7250 is LTE-only. Check the exact phone’s supported bands and your carrier’s network before buying; chipset support does not guarantee that every feature or band is enabled in a handset.
Storage and memory
Both platforms support LPDDR4X memory, but their manufacturers express memory rates in different units, so the listed figures should not be compared directly without accounting for how rates and configurations are defined. MediaTek lists UFS 3.1 storage for the Dimensity 1300. UNISOC lists eMMC 5.1 and UFS 2.2/2.1 options for the T7250, so storage speed can vary more among T7250 phones depending on the option chosen by the maker.
Process and battery life
The manufacturers list 6 nm for the Dimensity 1300 and 12 nm for the T7250. Those process specifications do not establish which phone lasts longer on a charge: battery capacity, display, software, workload, and device-level power management all matter.
Display support
UNISOC says the T7250 is compatible with 720p and 1080p screens and supports a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. That describes supported modes, not a guarantee that every T7250 phone has a 120 Hz display. The actual screen resolution and refresh rate are handset specifications.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which should you choose?
If the choice is based on chipset capability alone, the Dimensity 1300 is the stronger option: it has the more capable listed CPU and GPU and adds 5G. A T7250 phone may still be the better purchase if its price, display, storage configuration, battery behavior, or software support suits you better.
Compare the complete phone models rather than relying on the chipset name. For two phones under consideration, check:
- 5G or LTE support and the exact bands available for your carrier and region.
- Memory capacity and the storage type actually included in the phone.
- Display resolution and refresh rate.
- Battery capacity and device-level thermal behavior.
- Software support and current price.
