This is the single-player sci-fi puzzle-platformer by Continental Games on Steam, listed with a February 11, 2022 release date—not another game with a similar name. How do Deja Vu’s clones work?
You control Grant, whose prior actions can be recorded and replayed as clones. Rather than performing every part of a puzzle in one uninterrupted sequence, you can use a clone to repeat an earlier action while Grant does something else. The Steam description also says you can pause a clone and rewind to the beginning of its recording.

Plan the order of actions
Before recording, identify what must happen first and what needs to happen while it is happening. If one action needs to be repeated while you move elsewhere, record that action and let the clone handle it. Use the pause and rewind options to adjust the sequence when a replay does not line up with your current move.
Watch timing around hazards and obstacles
The Steam listing names spikes, locked gates, teleporting platforms, and time-dilation fields among the game’s puzzle elements. A field changes how quickly time moves, slowing or speeding it. When a sequence fails near one, observe how the field affects the timing of both your movement and a clone’s replay before changing the plan.

Check whether a relic requires a clone
The listing says some relics can only be collected by a clone. If Grant cannot collect a relic, consider whether the puzzle expects a recorded action to reach or pick it up instead. The store description does not provide level-specific routes, so the exact sequence depends on the puzzle.

What to know about time trials
Each level has a completion time and a leaderboard, according to the Steam page, so players can compare times. That does not establish whether the leaderboards are currently active or identify optimal routes. For a faster clear, first make the clone sequence reliable; then look for actions that can be coordinated rather than performed one after another.
