Yes. A Power Apps Code App can read query-string parameters from its launch URL. The important distinction is that receiving a parameter does not automatically open a particular screen or record: your code must interpret the value and pass it to your app’s routing or view-selection logic.
How Code App deep links work
A Code App is a code-first web app that can use frameworks such as React or Vue alongside Power Apps capabilities. Its SDK exposes launch context through the asynchronous getContext() method imported from @microsoft/power-apps/app. The returned context includes app.queryParams, which contains query parameters from the URL. Microsoft documents this API in How to: Get context data.
The parameter is input for your application, not a built-in Code Apps route. For example, recordId below is an app-defined key; Microsoft does not reserve it as a universal Code Apps navigation syntax.
Build a Code App link with a parameter
Microsoft’s iframe embedding guidance gives the Code App play URL this form:

The tenant ID is optional in that guidance. If the URL already has a query string, append your app’s parameter with &; if it has none, begin the query string with ?. For example, append &recordId=123 to the URL above, replacing the sample value with the identifier your app expects. Encode values appropriately when constructing links, especially if they contain characters with special meaning in URLs. Read the parameter and decide what to show
A minimal TypeScript example looks like this:

Check that the parameter is present and valid, then use the app’s existing data and authorization logic before displaying the requested record. A URL value is untrusted input and is not permission to access that record.
Microsoft’s PowerAppsCodeApps repository includes a DataverseContextRouting sample that uses context query parameters to select an initial Dataverse page. That demonstrates the pattern, but does not establish a universal route format for every Code App.

Choose how the app handles navigation
The right approach depends on the app’s existing architecture. These are engineering options, not Microsoft product rankings:

The repository also lists a TanStack Router sample alongside the Dataverse context-routing sample. Choose based on your app’s needs rather than assuming either sample defines platform-wide behavior.

What this is—and is not—compared with canvas app deep links
Canvas apps have a separate deep-link pattern that uses the canvas formula functions Param() and StartScreen. Those instructions are for canvas apps, not the Code Apps SDK. In a Code App, use getContext() and context.app.queryParams instead. See Microsoft’s Create a canvas app with deep link to a specific screen for the canvas-specific method.
Keep platform URL options separate from app routes
Microsoft documents hideNavBar=true as a play-URL option for hiding the Power Apps header. It changes platform chrome, not the Code App’s selected page or record. If the URL already contains a query string, append the setting with &. See Power Apps code apps system configuration.

Test the published link and its failure cases
Test the actual play URL in the launch contexts your users rely on. At minimum, check the expected destination with a valid parameter, the app’s default behavior when it is missing, and the response to an invalid value. If the app is embedded, test it in the intended host as well; embedding restrictions can affect whether users can open it at all.
Microsoft’s iframe guidance says embedded Code Apps are accessible to Power Apps users within the same tenant. To frame an app on an external host, an administrator must configure the environment’s Content Security Policy frame-ancestors directive. The guidance documents iframe embedding, but does not promise that every custom route will persist across refreshes or behave identically in every host. Treat those as app-specific behaviors to verify.
Power Apps Mobile has its own ms-apps:// and ms-mobile-apps:// deep-link formats. Do not substitute those formats for the Code App web play URL without Code Apps-specific guidance; see Microsoft’s Use deep links with the Power Apps mobile app.
