Neither DarazHost nor InMotion Hosting is a proven overall winner: the available provider pages do not establish a head-to-head performance result. For a fair choice, compare equivalent shared-hosting plans, including the full first-term commitment, renewal price, site and resource limits, included features, and exit terms. DarazHost’s listed shared tiers emphasize low advertised prices and simple plan distinctions; InMotion offers shared hosting alongside several other hosting categories.
Compare the same kind of hosting
DarazHost’s relevant offer here is shared hosting. InMotion sells shared hosting as well as WordPress, reseller, VPS, and dedicated hosting. Compare DarazHost shared hosting with an InMotion shared plan—not with an InMotion VPS or dedicated offer. Those products have different resource models and prices, so a cross-category price comparison would not identify the better shared host. DarazHost shared-hosting plans · InMotion pricing
What the listed shared plans include
DarazHost
DarazHost lists Starter, Business, and Premium shared plans. Its page displays annual rates of $1.95, $3.95, and $5.95 per month, respectively; semiannual and monthly billing are listed at higher rates. These are displayed offers, not guaranteed future prices. The page specifies one website, 10 GB SSD storage, and 100 GB bandwidth for Starter; five websites for Business; and multiple websites for Premium. Higher tiers label storage and bandwidth “unlimited,” subject to the provider’s fair-use policy and normal website usage. The page also ties domain eligibility to annual billing and differentiates setup fees and advanced security by tier. Confirm the exact terms at checkout. DarazHost plan details

It also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. These are provider descriptions; the page does not independently establish speed, security effectiveness, support quality, or actual uptime. #1 Best Overall
InMotion Hosting
InMotion’s shared-hosting page describes the service as suitable for personal and small-business websites. It advertises free migration for cPanel sites, a domain, SSL, email, and one-click WordPress installation. Confirm whether each item applies to the exact shared plan and billing term at purchase. InMotion shared hosting
InMotion’s pricing page lists multiple hosting categories and displays term-based introductory and renewal prices. Because its offers vary by product and term, identify the exact shared plan before comparing costs; do not use a VPS or dedicated-hosting price as a stand-in. InMotion pricing
Compare the full cost, not just the advertised rate
DarazHost displays different monthly-equivalent prices for annual, semiannual, and monthly billing. InMotion shows introductory term prices and renewal prices. For the plan you are actually considering, record the billing term and total amount due for the initial commitment, then compare the renewal rate and any setup or add-on fees. A low introductory monthly equivalent does not by itself show what hosting will cost over time.
- Initial commitment: Note the billing period and total charged for it, rather than comparing monthly equivalents without their term.
- Renewal: Use the renewal price shown for the exact plan, and check whether the term changes the rate.
- Potential extras: Check domain eligibility, setup fees, advanced security, and any other charges that apply to your selected plan.
- Refund and exit: Read the applicable refund conditions and establish how you can access backups and move the site if you leave.
Choose by site needs and operating requirements
A single new website
For a small brochure site, begin with the lowest shared tier that meets the site-count and resource requirements. DarazHost Starter’s published limits are one website, 10 GB SSD, and 100 GB bandwidth. Compare those limits with the exact InMotion shared plan rather than assuming the plans are equivalent. A lower starting rate matters only if the plan’s limits and renewal cost fit your needs.
Rank #3
Several websites or a small business
If you need multiple sites, compare the permitted site count and the terms behind any “unlimited” resource label. DarazHost lists five websites on Business and multiple websites on Premium; its higher-tier storage and bandwidth are subject to fair use. InMotion’s shared-hosting page targets personal and small-business sites, but verify the site and resource limits of the particular plan before buying.
WordPress, migration, or future growth
If you are moving an existing cPanel site, check the scope of InMotion’s advertised free cPanel migration and whether it covers your site and plan. If you are starting a WordPress site, verify the plan-specific installer and support details at checkout. If you expect to need VPS or dedicated resources later, InMotion’s broader product range is a possible upgrade path; that alone does not establish that its shared plans are better.
Rank #4
What uptime and speed claims do—and do not—show
DarazHost advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee on its plans page. InMotion’s pricing page shows a 99.99% guarantee for some offers. These are provider guarantees, not independently measured availability, and the InMotion claim should not be assumed to apply to the specific shared plan under consideration. Read the guarantee’s scope and remedies before treating either figure as a decision advantage. DarazHost plan details · InMotion pricing
The provider pages do not supply an independent, comparable speed or uptime test for these two hosts. Marketing speed statements cannot establish which service will load a particular site faster. Likewise, the available pages do not establish comparative support response times or outcomes, or which data center is closest to a particular reader. Treat those as unknowns rather than advantages for either provider.
Quick Recap
Best Value
A practical decision rule
- Consider DarazHost if the exact shared tier meets your site and resource needs, its displayed price and renewal terms work for your budget, and its included features match what you need.
- Consider InMotion if the exact shared plan’s migration offer, included features, or broader upgrade options fit your requirements and its renewal price remains acceptable.
- Do not choose on a performance claim alone. Neither provider’s marketing pages provide a comparable independent test that proves one is faster or more reliable.
