Set the laundromat’s seven machine rows to 0001000 / 001100 / 100001 / 000000 / 000000 / 000000 / 100000. This turns on six machines: row 1, position 4; row 2, positions 3 and 4; row 3, positions 1 and 6; and row 7, position 1. Leave rows 4, 5, and 6 off. When the pattern is correct, the break-room back wall opens to a basement passage.
Get inside Wear’em & Wash’em
The laundromat is in Central, near East Park Station. Floating debris blocks the entrance; follow its connections to the red growths and destroy them to clear a path inside. This exterior obstruction is separate from the puzzle.
Find the laundry note inside. Its digits describe machine states: 1 means on and 0 means off.

Read the banks in order as you enter, starting at the left wall. The two faces of each island are separate rows, and the right wall is split into rear and front sections.

Use the physical bank positions when counting. Stacked drums can share one slot in the layout, so do not count each stacked drum as a separate position.
Check the passage and collect the reward
After setting the pattern, go to the rear break room. The opened wall and stairs mark the basement entrance. A walkthrough reports a Health Upgrade Point in a chest below.

The laundromat is also listed among six Secret Hideouts associated with the Backroom Espionage trophy. That broader trophy is tied to the hideouts, not earned from this puzzle alone. The puzzle and trophy information comes from unofficial walkthroughs; consult the game’s current version if a later update changes the interaction.
