To finish the five-camera Downtown finale in Control Resonant’s “Freeze Frame” side story, first find every camera photo, then go to the marked Lookout Point and shut the lid on each camera along the route. The five landmarks are a tripod, a green structure, a high concrete wall ledge, a yellow-marked platform, and the courtyard near the frozen agents. Completing the sequence contributes to the broader Panopticon Intern trophy; Freeze Frame is not a separate trophy.
Before you start: unlock the Downtown sequence
The five Downtown cameras are the finale of the Freeze Frame activity, not the entire camera hunt. The walkthrough for the Downtown sequence says it becomes available after all camera photos have been found; Zoe then directs you to the marked Lookout Point. Nerd’sChalk’s Freeze Frame guide describes the objective as “Contain all the Cameras in Downtown.”
The wider collection is reported by PowerPyx as 14 cameras across seven zones, with two in each zone. This broader hunt and the five-camera finale are different stages of the same activity. PowerPyx’s camera-location guide covers the collection and its recurring access challenges.

At each stop, approach the camera and use the Shut Camera Lid interaction. Follow the route landmarks below; the cited Downtown walkthrough does not specify a more detailed access path for every stop.

- Tripod camera: Start at Lookout Point and shut the lid on the camera mounted on a tripod.
- Camera on the green structure: Ascend to the top of the green structure and shut its lid.
- Camera on the concrete wall: Reach the camera on the high concrete wall ledge and shut its lid.
- Yellow-marked platform: Continue to the camera on the platform with yellow perimeter markings and shut its lid.
- Courtyard camera: Return to the central courtyard and shut the final lid near the frozen agents.
The sequence of landmarks and interactions comes from Nerd’sChalk’s Downtown walkthrough. Use the visible camera positions and objective markers to navigate between them rather than assuming a specific jump or ability route not described in that guide.
If a camera spots you
PowerPyx’s guide says the broader camera activity rewards approaching from behind and remaining unseen. If a camera spots you, it disappears; move away and wait for the respawn click, then try again from a different approach. Elevated routes, abilities, power sources, and locked doors can affect access to cameras elsewhere in the hunt, so look for another route instead of repeatedly approaching the same angle. These are general camera-hunt tips, not a claim that every Downtown stop uses the same obstacle.

How Freeze Frame relates to Panopticon Intern
Panopticon Intern is associated with completing five Altered Item side stories. The trophy guide lists Freeze Frame among them and says the story has no separate trophy of its own. The Downtown walkthrough reports a Panopticon Intern notification when the last camera lid is shut. In other words, completing Freeze Frame counts toward the wider trophy rather than awarding a distinct Freeze Frame trophy. PowerPyx’s trophy guide covers the trophy requirements; its page was not accessible for direct verification, so the specific trophy details here are attributed to that guide.
What happens after the final camera
The Downtown walkthrough reports that shutting the last lid completes Freeze Frame and awards the Untapped Shiny Pebble. The guide describes the artifact as slowly restoring health up to 50% while the player uses a Gravity Anomaly; that effect description is guide-reported, not independently tested here. The same walkthrough reports the Panopticon Intern trophy notification after the sequence.

PowerPyx says the camera activities remain available in free roam after the story, which can be useful if you leave part of the wider collection unfinished. Check the in-game objective state if your completion or trophy notification differs, since the route and trophy details cited here come from walkthrough guides rather than official game documentation.
