To reroute Factory Station in Control Resonant, collect three power units from the upper shop, a rail-level side area, and the roof of the parked train. Set them on the three yellow floor pads that line up with the Tuning Device, then pull its lever. After the cutscene, look for the objective “Head to the Surface” as the completion cue.
Where to find Factory Station
Open the map and head to the Factory Station marker in northern Central, near the Patterned Factory. One walkthrough describes it as northwest of the Patterned Factory, so use the station marker to guide the final approach. Where to find all three power units
Upper shop
Enter the station and check the open shop above the stairs for the first unit. Carry it to the yellow pad at the foot of the stairs.
Rail-level side area
At track level, inspect the side areas for the second unit. Guides describe it as being in an alcove off the tracks or behind the southern stairs; those descriptions differ, so check the nearby alcoves rather than relying on a precise compass direction.

Climb onto the parked train and collect the third unit from its roof.
Which yellow pads to use
Use the three yellow pads that form a straight line with the Tuning Device. Stand behind the device and look along its central axis to identify the correct line. The first pad is at the bottom of the stairs, with the other two between it and the device. The requirement is alignment—not simply placing units on any three yellow pads.
How to activate the reroute
- Place one power unit on each of the three aligned yellow pads.
- Go to the Tuning Device console and pull its lever. Do this after all three units are in position.
- Let the cutscene finish, then check the objective. It should change to “Head to the Surface.”
Power units and the Tuning Device are different
The three items you carry are Calibration Units; the Tuning Device is the fixed console that activates the reroute. Factory Station’s task is to align the carryable units with the console’s axis and then use its lever. This distinction can help if you are following instructions for other stations in the broader Power Lines sequence.
