What does “unlimited traffic” mean?
Contabo describes incoming traffic as unlimited and unmetered, with no extra charges, but its policy includes a fair-use qualification. It says traffic should align with typical server workloads and reserves discretion to throttle servers if usage is exceptionally high or disruptive, to preserve network performance. “Unlimited” should therefore not be read as a guarantee of unrestricted throughput in every usage scenario. Contabo’s US VPS page describes the displayed rate as an effective monthly price for a 24-month subscription including applicable taxes. It also lists a minimum initial contract length of one month, a following contract length equal to the initial contract length, and a minimum cancellation notice of none for prepaid subscriptions or four weeks for postpaid subscriptions. Yes. Contabo’s Help Center says a subscription can be renewed for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months through the Customer Control Panel. The cited renewal guidance does not state the renewal price, so do not assume that an effective monthly rate or an initial offer will continue. How do I terminate a service?
