Cooler Master’s Computex 2025 materials confirm two different cooling ideas: 3D vapor-chamber cold plates for enterprise systems and 3DHP heat-pipe air coolers for consumer PCs. They do not identify the model or mechanism of the color-changing CPU cooler mentioned in the headline. The clearest named consumer product later linked to the 3DHP concept is the Hyper 212 3DHP, but the cited material does not confirm its price, retail availability, or benchmark performance.

What did Cooler Master show at Computex 2025?

Cooler Master’s May 20, 2025 Computex announcement covered cooling for both enterprise systems and consumer PCs. The two technologies are related by their focus on heat transfer, but they are not the same product.

Technology Intended use What Cooler Master described Named product or availability
3D vapor-chamber cold plates Enterprise systems, including finance, research, and telecommunications workloads Cold plates and liquid-coolant distribution units for system cooling The announcement did not name a consumer CPU cooler or state retail availability.
3DHP heat-pipe architecture Consumer CPU air coolers A heat-pipe layout intended to improve heat transfer from the CPU The V4, V6, V8, and V10 were named in Cooler Master’s January 7, 2025 announcement. A September 17, 2025 Tom’s Hardware report later connected the concept to the Hyper 212 3DHP.

The company’s Computex event page also lists products including MasterFrame 600, QUBE 500 Core, MasterLiquid Atmos II, and Elite Series products, but it does not identify a color-changing CPU cooler by name. Cooler Master CEO Jimmy Sha described the company’s approach this way: “Our structure allows ideas to flow in both directions — from the most demanding servers to the most expressive desktop rigs.”

What is Cooler Master’s color-changing CPU cooler?

The exact model and color-changing mechanism are not established by the cited Cooler Master materials. Those sources do not say whether the effect comes from lighting, a thermochromic surface, a display, or another feature. Treat “color-changing CPU cooler” as an unidentified Computex item, not as a confirmed product name or specification.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black CPU Air Cooler, 4 Heat Pipes, PWM Fan
  • Cool for R7 | i7: Four heat pipes and a copper base ensure optimal cooling performance for AMD R7 and Intel i7.
  • Quiet Cooling Fan: SickleFlow 120 Edge with Dynamic PWM control (690–2,500 RPM), designed for low noise and peak cooling performance.
  • Simplify Brackets: Redesigned brackets simplify installation on AM5 and LGA 1851|1700 platforms.
  • Versatile Compatibility: 152mm tall design offers performance with wide chassis compatibility.
  • Easy Installation: Easy to install with included thermal paste for hassle-free setup and optimal cooling performance.

That distinction matters because the V-Series announcement does confirm ARGB lighting, but it does not say that the coolers change color in response to temperature or identify them as the color-changing item. ARGB lighting can be customized; it is not evidence of a temperature-reactive finish.

What does 3DHP mean?

3DHP refers to Cooler Master’s heat-pipe arrangement for consumer air coolers. In its January 7, 2025 announcement, the company described a central heat pipe positioned directly above the CPU’s heat spot, with the goal of improving heat dissipation while using fewer heat pipes. Tom’s Hardware’s September 17, 2025 report explained that an extra pipe carries heat through the center of the fin stack, making more use of its middle area.

Cooler Master 360L Core AIO CPU Liquid Cooler – 360mm Radiator, 3X ARGB PWM Fans, Patented Gen S Dual-Chamber Pump, Quiet Cooling & Easy Installation, AMD AM5/AM4 & Intel LGA 1851/1700, Black
  • Clean Classic Design: A clean and minimalist design offers a modern facelift to the pump, while enhancing the lighting dispersion of the ARGB. for fully customizable illumination
  • Gen S Dual Chamber Pump: An improved copper base design to target heat spots with greater precision, while also increasing water flow and pressure for enhanced cooling performance.
  • CryoFuze Thermal Paste: Now included premium CryoFuze thermal paste, which offers exceptional thermal conductivity of 14W/mK, as well as non-corrosive and oxidation-resistant properties for temperature stability ranging from -50°C up to 250°C.
  • Optimized Fan Blades: Our optimized PWM curve blade design improves airflow and air pressure, while the enhanced frame reduces turbulent flow for a quieter and more efficient cooling performance
  • Frosted Blade Design: Our frosted blade design has been refreshed to enhance the dispersion of ARGB lighting, resulting in a more vibrant and luminescent effect that is fully customizable

That is a design explanation, not a published performance result. The cited material provides no measured temperature, noise, or comparative benchmark showing how much the arrangement improves cooling over another tower cooler.

Is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 3DHP real, and can you buy it?

Hyper 212 3DHP is the clearest named product tied to the 3D heat-pipe concept: Tom’s Hardware reported on September 17, 2025 that Cooler Master was moving the concept toward retail under that name. “Moving toward retail” does not establish that it is currently in stock or available in a particular country. The cited report and official announcements do not provide a confirmed price or retail listing.

Which CPU sockets do the announced coolers support?

Cooler Master’s January 7 announcement says the V-Series supports current Intel and AMD processors, but it does not list exact socket designations in the cited material. Check the specific model’s current product page or packaging for the socket list before buying; do not infer exact compatibility from the broad Intel-and-AMD statement. No socket list for the unidentified color-changing cooler is established.

What is—and is not—confirmed about performance?

Cooler Master’s cited announcements describe design intent and product features, not controlled results. They do not provide authoritative numerical temperature, noise, or price figures for the color-changing item. Nor do they establish that it outperforms conventional tower coolers. For a buying decision, wait for a confirmed model page and independent testing that identifies the CPU, test conditions, noise level, and competing cooler.
