Colorlib’s 2026 Login Page V02 is a free, 189 KB front-end sign-in design for a fictional notes app. It presents passkey, email-and-password, and magic-link options, but those controls are a visual demo—not a complete authentication system. You’ll need to connect the form and sign-in methods to a real authentication provider or server-side implementation.
What Login Page V02 includes
The design centers a compact login card around three sign-in presentations: a passkey option, email and password fields, and a magic-link mode. In the latter, the password field disappears and the interface offers to email a one-time sign-in link. These describe the template’s interface; they do not establish that passkey verification, email delivery, or account login works without integration.
Colorlib lists the download at 189 KB in its collection dated September 28, 2026. That is the publisher-reported download size, not a measure of load speed or overall performance. See Colorlib’s free Bootstrap login pages collection.

What you need to make it authenticate users
Login Page V02 supplies the front end: the page and its visible controls. It does not, by itself, verify credentials, create secure sessions, deliver magic links, or complete passkey authentication. Colorlib’s FAQ puts it simply: “A login page template is the front end only.”
#1 Best Overall
To use it for real accounts, connect the form to an authentication service or implement the server-side login flow. The passkey and magic-link options also need working provider integrations. Account security, session handling, and server-side validation belong to that implementation—not to the visual template.
Framework and dependencies
Colorlib describes the templates in its collection as responsive, dependency-free HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript. It says they can be used standalone or in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. That is Colorlib’s compatibility claim; it is not an independently verified test of this specific download.

In response to the common question, “Do I need Bootstrap or jQuery?” Colorlib says the template can work without either. Check the downloaded files and any included instructions to confirm what the particular version you receive requires.
License and attribution
Colorlib says its templates are free for personal and commercial projects under CC BY 3.0 when the Colorlib credit link is retained. The collection also notes that some items elsewhere on the page have separate terms. Before adapting or redistributing Login Page V02, check the license included with the exact download and follow its attribution conditions.

Make sure you have the right V02
There are two similarly named Colorlib items. The 2026 collection’s Login Page V02 is the passkey-and-magic-link design described above. The separate, older Login Form V02 is an image-based Bootstrap form dated January 6, 2021. Confirm the title and preview before downloading so you get the design you intend.

When choosing a login template, compare what it actually provides rather than relying on the sign-in labels alone:
- Authentication method: Does the design show the password, passkey, emailed link, single sign-on, or one-time-code flow your users need? Confirm separately that your authentication provider can implement it.
- Layout and responsiveness: Check the card and fields on the screen sizes and accessibility needs relevant to your project.
- Dependencies: Confirm whether you want standalone HTML and CSS or a template built around a particular framework.
- License: Read the terms for the exact download, including any credit requirement.
- Implementation scope: Determine whether you are getting only a front-end design or a working authentication integration.
For context, MDBootstrap lists a free Bootstrap 5 login template under the MIT license. That is a descriptive example, not a quality ranking; compare each template’s actual sign-in flow, dependencies, and license before choosing. See MDBootstrap’s login template.
