The TECNO POVA 7 Pro 5G is the stronger fit if you prioritize a higher-resolution, faster-refresh display, a larger stated battery, or wireless charging. Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro if you want a dedicated 2x telephoto camera or the documented software-update commitment. Neither is a universal winner, and India price listings conflict, so compare the exact local variant and seller before buying.

Which phone has the better display?
The POVA 7 Pro 5G lists a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2720 x 1224 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is nearly the same size at 6.77 inches, with 1080 x 2392 resolution and adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. On the published specifications, TECNO offers more pixels and a higher maximum refresh rate; the screen-size difference is negligible. Actual viewing experience can also depend on brightness, calibration, and content, which these figures alone do not compare.

Which has the more useful camera setup?
CMF provides three distinct rear-camera roles: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide. TECNO lists a 64MP main camera and an 8MP secondary camera. The CMF setup is more versatile on paper if you want a dedicated telephoto lens and ultrawide perspective. The higher megapixel count on TECNO’s main camera does not establish that it takes better photos; a reliable quality verdict requires comparative testing.

Battery and charging differences
The POVA lists a 6000mAh battery, 45W wired charging, and 30W wireless charging. TECNO also advertises 10W reverse charging, describing the phone as doubling as a power bank. CMF lists a 5000mAh battery and 33W wired charging, with no wireless charging figure in the cited specifications.
These are capacity and charging specifications, not a direct battery-life comparison. Tom’s Guide measured the CMF Phone 2 Pro at 15 hours 24 minutes in its 2025 battery benchmark using dynamic refresh-rate mode; that is an outlet-specific result, not a head-to-head test against the POVA.

Software updates: what is documented?
Both phones are listed with Android 15. Tom’s Guide reports that CMF promises three Android-version updates and six years of security patches for the Phone 2 Pro. The cited TECNO product specification page does not state a software-support duration, so there is not enough information here to make a like-for-like longevity comparison or infer TECNO’s policy.
What is the price difference?
Prices vary by country, seller, configuration, stock, and date. The available India listings do not agree, and none should be treated as a verified live offer.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the POVA 7 Pro 5G if its higher listed resolution and refresh rate, larger stated battery, or wireless charging matter most to you—and its local price and warranty check out.
- Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro if you value a dedicated 2x telephoto camera or the update duration reported by Tom’s Guide.
- Compare locally before deciding if price is the deciding factor: listings conflict, and the value depends on matching storage and RAM, authorized warranty, network compatibility, and current support terms.
