Chiranjeevi has condemned an AI-manipulated video linked to “Chuttamalle” from Devara: Part 1 and said he will raise the issue with Telugu film industry bodies. He plans to recommend a dedicated committee and support cell; the group is a proposal, not an established service. He also urged people to report the material rather than watch or circulate it.
What happened with the “Chuttamalle” video?
News reports say a video using footage associated with “Chuttamalle,” featuring Janhvi Kapoor, was manipulated to depict her in a degrading, sexually explicit manner. India Today reported that the clip was taken down, but that does not establish that every copy or re-upload disappeared. India Today’s report and The Indian Express’s coverage describe the incident.

He said he would take the matter to the Telugu Film Chamber, the Producers’ Council and affiliated industry bodies, and recommend “the formation of a dedicated committee and support cell.” He described the proposed group as a way to support affected people, coordinate removal efforts and work with cybercrime authorities on legal action. The reports describe a recommendation, not a committee that has already been formed or a support service that is currently available. The Indian Express and India Today report his remarks.
