The Changhong FTM320A01W is a 300 L gross-capacity, top-mount refrigerator with frost-free operation and reversible doors. Its published dimensions are 605 × 1520 × 670 mm (W × H × D), but installation needs substantially more room: the manual calls for 5 inches of clearance at the back and sides. Changhong’s specification sheet lists energy consumption of 435 kWh per year and a 2-star rating. These are manufacturer-published figures, not independent performance-test results.
What are the Changhong FTM320A01W’s capacity and dimensions?
Changhong Electric (Australia) Pty Ltd lists 300 L of gross capacity, split between a 220 L refrigerator compartment and an 80 L freezer compartment. The sheet does not give net or usable capacity, so those figures should not be treated as the space available for food after shelves and fittings are accounted for.

These figures come from the FTM320A01W specification sheet; it does not state a publication year. Before buying or moving the refrigerator, measure both its final position and the route through doorways, halls and stairs. The appliance itself is 670 mm deep, before allowing for the ventilation space specified in the manual.

The manufacturer’s sheet states annual energy consumption of 435 kWh and a 2-star rating. The sheet does not state a publication year, and these are published product specifications rather than measurements from an independent test. Energy labels and comparison rules can vary by market and change over time, so compare the unit’s current local label with those of other refrigerators before choosing.

Is the FTM320A01W frost-free, and what storage does it have?
Changhong lists the FTM320A01W as frost-free and specifies the following interior fittings:
- Three tempered-glass refrigerator shelves
- Seven refrigerator door baskets
- Two crisper drawers with glass covers
- One wire freezer shelf
- Two freezer door baskets
The sheet also lists adjustable feet, a white finish and a recessed handle. These are feature descriptions, not independent findings about cooling consistency, food freshness, noise or build quality.

Can you reverse the door?
Yes. The specification sheet lists reversible doors. Check the manual and the exact unit before starting the change, and confirm that the intended hinge arrangement works with nearby walls, cabinets and the direction of kitchen traffic.

The user manual describes the refrigerator as freestanding; it says not to recess or build it in. It calls for 5 inches of space at the back and sides, a level floor strong enough to support the appliance when loaded, and adjustment using the feet. It also advises positioning the refrigerator away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

The manual says ambient temperatures below 50°F or above 85°F hinder performance, and that the unit is not designed for garage or outdoor installation. It also cautions against installing it in a caravan or using it with an inverter. Confirm that these instructions apply to the specific unit and market you are considering.
What should you know before first use?
After plugging in the refrigerator, the manual says to let it cool for 2–3 hours before adding food. It describes a control knob and says MED should be suitable for home or office use. When adjusting the setting, change it one increment at a time and allow several hours for temperatures to stabilize.

An Andoo product page lists the exact model, but a listing alone does not establish current stock, price or delivery availability. The specification sheet states “2+8 years” for warranty, but the available material does not explain the terms or establish whether they apply to a present-day purchase. Confirm availability, total delivered cost and written warranty conditions with the seller before ordering.

They do not establish independently measured cooling performance, noise, durability or long-term owner experience. This is therefore a specification-led assessment, not a hands-on or independently tested review. For a decision between models, compare usable capacity, the compartment split, required installation space, current local energy labels, door swing, interior layout, warranty terms and current delivered price.

Manual-specified lamp replacement
If the interior lamp needs replacing, the manual instructs users to switch the refrigerator off and unplug it first, then use a 15 W refrigerator bulb of the same shape and size. Check the lamp fitted to the unit and confirm compatibility before buying a replacement. The manual lists Changhong’s service-centre number as 1300 796 688.
