Remedy’s minimum PC profile targets 1080p at 30 FPS on Low settings, with Quality upscaling and ray tracing off. The Recommended profile targets 60 FPS with Medium settings, Balanced upscaling and Medium ray tracing. Both require 16 GB of RAM and 120 GB of SSD storage; Remedy says an SSD is required for every PC setup.
CONTROL Resonant PC system requirements at a glance
The profiles below are Remedy Entertainment’s published targets, not guarantees of identical performance on every PC. The Recommended profile lists a 60 FPS target but does not specify a resolution.

All three profiles share these requirements: 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11, 16 GB RAM and 120 GB of SSD storage. Remedy explicitly requires an SSD for all PC setups. See Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant PC system requirements.
Can your PC run CONTROL Resonant?
Compare your PC’s processor and graphics card with the profile you want to target, then check that it has at least 16 GB RAM and 120 GB of available SSD space. For the minimum target, the GPU must be in the listed GTX 1070, RX 5600 XT or Arc A580 class, alongside the specified CPU tier. The Recommended target calls for a markedly newer GPU tier, plus the listed Core i7 or Ryzen 7 processor.

- If your system matches the minimum profile, Remedy’s stated target is 1080p at 30 FPS on Low settings with ray tracing disabled.
- If it matches the Recommended profile, Remedy’s target is 60 FPS on Medium settings with Medium ray tracing; the page does not give a resolution for this profile.
- The 4K path-tracing target is a separate enthusiast profile, not the baseline needed to play: it specifies an RTX 5080 and 12 GB VRAM.
Matching a profile does not guarantee the same result in every scene or hardware configuration. Remedy also notes that Frame Generation was not used when it tested the configurations shown, so these targets should not be read as Frame Generation-assisted results.

Remedy lists uncapped frame rate, HDR and ultrawide display support, along with ray tracing and path tracing. The supported upscaling and frame-generation technologies include NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1; Remedy also lists NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction. Feature support does not mean that every feature is part of every requirements profile.
