Not the Samsung S Pen: Apple’s iPhone Duo specifications name Apple Pencil (USB-C) as the supported stylus for both the inner and outer displays. The USB-C Pencil is the model to look for; Apple does not list the S Pen or Apple Pencil Pro as compatible with the phone.
Does iPhone Duo support a stylus?
Yes. Apple’s iPhone Duo technical specifications list Apple Pencil (USB-C) support on both displays: the 7.6-inch inner screen and the 5.4-inch outer screen. The specifications identify a particular Apple Pencil model, not a general guarantee that any touchscreen stylus will work.
That distinction answers the S Pen question: Apple’s compatibility listing does not name Samsung’s S Pen. Do not assume it will work just because it is a stylus. If you want the model Apple explicitly supports, choose Apple Pencil (USB-C).
What can Apple Pencil (USB-C) do?
Apple lists pixel-level precision, low latency, tilt sensitivity and hover for Apple Pencil (USB-C). Those features make it suited to writing, drawing and marking up content, but the Pencil is not as fully featured as Apple Pencil Pro.

These are Apple’s general Pencil feature comparisons, not hands-on findings about every iPhone Duo app or use case. Apple’s iPhone Duo specifications specifically identify the USB-C Pencil as compatible; they do not name Pencil Pro as a supported model. Will stylus support be available at launch?
A September 9, 2026 report by Android Authority said Pencil support would arrive “later this year,” citing fine print on Apple’s site. That is dated reporting, not confirmation of the phone’s current software status. Check current Apple software documentation for whether support is enabled before buying a Pencil specifically for immediate use.

Is Apple Pencil included with iPhone Duo?
Android Authority reported that the Pencil was not included with the phone. Bundle contents can change by market or offer, so check the current listing for your region before purchase. Apple lists iPhone Duo storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, but those configurations do not change which stylus Apple names as supported. [c001]

Apple’s compatibility specification establishes the supported model, but the available documentation here does not establish handwriting quality across the fold, app-by-app support, palm rejection behavior on this phone or long-term screen durability with stylus use. iPad Pencil features should not be assumed to behave identically on iPhone Duo. The phone’s listed weight is 254 grams; that is a device specification, not a measure of comfort during stylus use. [c001]
