Yes. Minecraft Dungeons II supports local couch co-op and online cross-play for groups of up to four players. You can also combine the two: some players share a couch while others join remotely. Console players need a platform-specific online subscription to play online; it is sold separately.
What co-op modes does Minecraft Dungeons II support?
The game offers two ways to play together. Minecraft’s official About Dungeons II page describes local co-op and online cross-play, and its launch announcement says up to four players can play together.

Can local and online players join the same game?
Yes. A group can include couch players and friends joining remotely, with four players maximum in the party. In Minecraft’s Dungeons II Co-op article, Technical Director Stefan Annell describes the aim as “one-click crossplay,” explaining that a session can be taken online so remote players can join. This makes mixed play possible rather than limiting a group to either everyone on one couch or everyone online.
Which platforms support co-op?
Minecraft’s launch announcement lists Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The official About page describes online cross-play. Platform availability and online-service requirements can vary or change, so check the current store listing for the platform you plan to use.

Do you need a subscription to play online?
Online console co-op requires a platform-specific online subscription, sold separately. Which service applies depends on the console and territory; verify the current requirements with your platform’s store or subscription page. The Xbox store listing, for example, separately describes Xbox local co-op for 2–4 players and online multiplayer for 2–4.
