Yes. Samsung says the Galaxy Fit2 can connect to an iPhone 7 or later running iOS 10.0 or later. Install Samsung’s Samsung Galaxy Fit (Gear Fit) app from the App Store to pair it. Samsung notes that some features, including quick reply and sleep score, are unavailable on iOS.
Which iPhones can connect to Galaxy Fit2?
Samsung’s stated minimum is an iPhone 7 or later with iOS 10.0 or later. This is a minimum compatibility specification, not a guarantee that the band and app work flawlessly with every newer iOS release. Before buying or setting up a Fit2, check that the app is currently available in your App Store and that your iPhone meets Samsung’s requirements.

Use Samsung Galaxy Fit (Gear Fit), Samsung’s iPhone-specific app. Apple’s US App Store listing identifies Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. as the developer and includes Galaxy Fit2 among the devices the app connects to and manages. How to pair Galaxy Fit2 with an iPhone
- Install Samsung Galaxy Fit (Gear Fit) from the App Store.
- Turn on the Galaxy Fit2, then open the app on your iPhone.
- Choose the device option in the app and select the nearby Fit band.
- Approve the Bluetooth connection and notification-access prompts to complete setup.
Samsung’s instructions note that screens and menu labels can vary with the device model, software, and app version. For an iPhone, follow the Galaxy Fit app route above rather than assuming the Android-oriented Galaxy Wearable workflow applies. [c-fit2-pairing-steps]
Which features are unavailable on iOS?

Galaxy Fit2 is not Gear Fit2
The names are easy to confuse, but Galaxy Fit2 and the older Gear Fit2 are different products. Samsung’s 2017 iOS announcement gave an iPhone 5 and iOS 9.0-or-later threshold for Gear Fit2; that older requirement does not apply to Galaxy Fit2. Samsung’s cited instructions explain how to make a new iPhone connection, but do not establish that moving a previously paired band preserves its data or that a reset is always necessary. Do not count on a transfer-without-reset procedure. Samsung’s broader Fit2 support article describes resetting through Galaxy Wearable settings and recommends backing up data to a Samsung account first; it also warns that reset takes effect immediately.
