Not by itself, according to Switchboard Live’s current documentation. Switchboard accepts a live feed from streaming software or an encoder and forwards it to YouTube; it does not describe a built-in playlist or repeat function, and says it does not store prerecorded videos. To loop multiple videos, configure the playback or encoder software to sequence and repeat them, then send that output through Switchboard.
What Switchboard Live does in this setup
Switchboard sits between your encoder and YouTube. Your streaming application sends video to a Switchboard workflow using that workflow’s Stream URL and Stream Key. Once Switchboard is receiving the feed, you select the YouTube destination and start it. Its setup guide lists OBS, Zoom, vMix, LiveU, Ecamm and Blackmagic as examples of software or encoders. For prerecorded content, Switchboard’s FAQ says the encoder must support streaming prerecorded video; Switchboard itself does not store the files. The FAQ does not specify how to create or repeat a playlist. Switchboard FAQ
How to loop the videos through Switchboard
- Prepare the files and playback source. Put the videos in the order you want and use an encoder or playback application that supports those files, playlist sequencing and repeat playback. Set the repeat behavior in that application; the Switchboard documentation does not provide a playlist-repeat control.
- Open your Switchboard workflow and copy its connection details. Use the workflow’s Stream URL and Stream Key in your encoder’s streaming settings. Keep the key private.
- Configure the encoder output. Switchboard’s setup guide gives general recommendations of CBR, a two-second keyframe rate, and 30 or 60 FPS. These are general setup recommendations, not a guarantee that every workflow or current encoder requires those exact settings. Check the requirements for your chosen workflow and encoder.
- Start playback and send the feed. Begin the playlist in the encoder or playback source and start broadcasting to Switchboard.
- Check the incoming feed in Switchboard. Confirm that the confidence monitor shows the video and the workflow status indicates it is receiving.
- Start the YouTube destination. Select the YouTube destination and choose Go Live. Switchboard’s YouTube instructions describe sending video to the workflow, confirming the receiving state, then starting the destination. Connecting YouTube to Switchboard Connect
Autostart does not create a playlist loop
Switchboard describes Autostart as starting destinations automatically when streaming software begins broadcasting. That can automate the destination-start step, but the feature description does not say it sequences video files, repeats a playlist or restarts an ended broadcast. Configure the repeat behavior in your playback source. Switchboard Live

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choosing where the repeat behavior belongs
- Playback or encoder software: handles the video files, sequence and repeat setting. Verify that your chosen software supports the formats and looping behavior you need.
- Switchboard: receives the encoder feed and delivers it to the selected destination, such as YouTube.
The cited Switchboard documentation does not give current, version-specific instructions for setting up a repeating multi-file playlist in OBS, nor does it establish specific YouTube duration limits or policy requirements for this kind of stream. Check the current documentation for your encoder and YouTube before configuring a long-running broadcast; do not assume the Switchboard connection itself makes the content eligible or resolves rights issues.
