LiveReacting’s Video Playlist layer can repeat a playlist continuously in a YouTube live stream when you enable Play in loop. After the final video ends, playback returns to the first video. This is a setting in a LiveReacting project—not a YouTube channel playlist setting.
How LiveReacting’s playlist loop works
LiveReacting documents a Video Playlist component that plays selected video files in the order you set. With Play in loop enabled, the playlist starts again at its first video after the last one finishes. If the option is off, playback stops at the end. See LiveReacting’s help instructions and its playlist guide.
This repeats the video content in the LiveReacting project that you stream to YouTube. It does not mean that any YouTube playlist URL will automatically become a live broadcast.
Set up the repeating playlist
- Open your project in LiveReacting.
- Select New Layer → Video → Video Playlist.
- Upload the video files you want to include, then select them for the playlist and arrange them in your preferred order.
- In the playlist controls, enable Play in loop.
- Stream the project to YouTube. After the final selected video ends, the playlist should return to its first video.
The steps and behavior above reflect LiveReacting’s published instructions; they have not been independently tested here. A live playlist loop is not a YouTube channel playlist
A LiveReacting Video Playlist controls what plays in the project being broadcast. A playlist on your YouTube channel is a way to organize videos for viewers. Adding a completed livestream replay to a YouTube playlist does not make that live broadcast start over or continue running.
Plan for replay archiving, monetization, and rights
Archiving a long livestream
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need a replay of a continuous broadcast, plan around that limit and keep a local archive as a backup. Check YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance for current details.

Monetization is a separate policy question
A functioning loop does not guarantee monetization eligibility. YouTube’s monetization policies emphasize original and authentic content and say repetitive or mass-produced content can be ineligible. Review YouTube channel monetization policies for the current rules; simply combining several clips does not establish eligibility.
Confirm rights to every video and audio track
Before rebroadcasting, make sure you have the necessary rights to the videos and their audio, including applicable music rights. YouTube’s Terms of Service set out the applicable requirements for content streamed on the service.
