It is not confirmed publicly. Castr’s billing help explains how to update payment details in Settings → Billing, but it does not say whether Castr accepts UPI or India-issued cards for subscriptions. Check the payment options in your account’s checkout or ask Castr billing support before relying on either method.
Does Castr accept UPI from Indian creators?
Castr’s public billing documentation does not confirm UPI as a way to pay for a Castr subscription. Its pricing page also does not specify whether UPI is available to customers in India. That means the public information does not establish either that UPI is accepted or that it is unavailable.
Check the payment methods shown in your Castr account’s checkout. If UPI is not offered there, ask Castr billing support whether it is supported for subscription payments in India. Do not assume that a payment method offered to viewers using a Castr-powered service is also available to Castr subscribers.

Will an India-issued credit or debit card work?
Castr’s billing help refers to updating a credit card or other payment details, but it does not list supported card-issuing countries or specifically confirm that India-issued cards work for subscriptions. A card’s appearance as an option, or a successful initial payment, may not by itself answer whether it can be used for recurring subscription charges.

Look at the payment methods displayed in your account’s checkout, then confirm with Castr if the answer is unclear. Ask specifically whether India-issued cards are accepted for recurring subscription billing. If your bank offers relevant controls, you can also check whether the card is enabled for online, international, and recurring transactions; that is a card-side check, not confirmation of Castr’s regional acceptance.
Why Castr’s viewer payment options do not answer this question
There are two different payment directions: a creator paying Castr for a subscription, and a viewer paying a creator through a Castr feature. Information about the second transaction does not establish which methods Castr accepts for its own subscription invoices.

How to verify before subscribing
- Sign in to Castr and open Settings → Billing, or proceed to the subscription checkout for your account.
- Check which payment methods are actually offered for that account and billing country. Do not infer availability from Castr’s paywall or OTT gateway information.
- If UPI or your India-issued card is not shown, or if a payment is rejected, contact Castr billing support. Ask whether UPI is supported and whether India-issued cards can be used for recurring subscription charges.
- If you need a definitive answer before entering billing details, get confirmation from Castr support first; the public pages cited here do not resolve either India-specific question.
