Yes—by arranging separate prerecorded Hindi and English videos in the order you want in a Gyre playlist. That is manual sequencing, not a documented feature that detects languages or alternates them automatically. If you mean letting viewers switch between Hindi and English audio on the same video, YouTube’s multi-language audio feature is a different option.
What “alternate” means
There are two different setups a creator might mean:
- Separate videos, one after another: Use a playlist of prerecorded files and arrange the Hindi and English videos in the desired sequence. Gyre documents ordered playlists that loop, but its published material does not describe automatic language detection or a Hindi-English rotation switch. See Gyre’s service page.
- Two languages for the same video: YouTube’s multi-language audio feature lets eligible creators add additional audio tracks to one video or Short. Viewers can select an available track; this does not alternate separate videos in a live stream. See YouTube’s multi-language audio instructions.
How to sequence separate Hindi and English videos with Gyre
- Prepare the files. Use prerecorded videos you have the rights and permissions to stream. Gyre’s support instructions say to upload source files to Gyre storage rather than simply adding YouTube video links, and recommend preparing files for the destination platform. - Upload the Hindi and English files to Gyre. Check the current plan’s storage and stream limits before uploading a large library; Gyre’s published plan details can change.
- Create a playlist and arrange its order. For example: Hindi video 1 → English video 1 → Hindi video 2 → English video 2. This is an illustrative sequence you set yourself, not a language-specific automation mode.
- Connect the YouTube channel, then start or schedule the stream. Gyre describes cloud-based continuous streaming. Its playlist documentation says playback starts over from the beginning when the playlist finishes.
- Check the mixed-language playback in your account. The available documentation establishes ordered playlists, but does not explicitly confirm Hindi-English mixed playlists as a separate feature. If this exact behavior is mission-critical, verify it with Gyre before relying on it for a scheduled broadcast.

When YouTube multi-language audio is the better fit
Choose multi-language audio when the video itself should remain the same and viewers should be able to choose Hindi or English narration. YouTube’s documented workflow is to add language audio tracks in YouTube Studio on desktop, when the channel and video are eligible. You need to provide the translated or dubbed audio; the feature does not itself translate the video. Details and eligibility are on YouTube Help.

This differs from putting several video files into a continuous live sequence. YouTube’s Live Streaming API ingestion documentation identifies multiple audio streams in one incoming feed as an error and says the feed must contain only one audio stream. That is not a workaround for alternating Hindi and English videos. See the LiveStreams API documentation.

Check rights and plan limits before going live
- Only stream videos and audio you have permission to rebroadcast. A playlist does not grant rights to the material in it.
- Check Gyre’s current plan page for storage, playlist, scheduler, and simultaneous stream limits before choosing a plan. Its published offers and capacities are subject to change: Gyre plans.
- For YouTube setup context, including live stream configuration, consult YouTube’s live stream settings guide. YouTube also distinguishes the broadcast from the stream feeding it in its broadcasts and streams documentation.
