No. YouTube prohibits someone whose channel has been terminated from using, possessing, or creating another YouTube channel. Livestreaming from a different channel is not a permitted workaround, even if another person owns it.
What YouTube’s termination rule covers
YouTube Help states: “If your YouTube channel is terminated, you are prohibited from using, possessing, or creating any other YouTube channels.” The rule applies to channels you already had, channels you create or acquire later, and channels on which you are repeatedly or prominently featured. YouTube also prohibits another channel owner from letting a terminated creator use their channel to bypass the termination. YouTube Help: Channel or account terminations
That means switching to a second channel, asking a friend to start the stream for you, or appearing on another person’s stream does not create a stated exception. YouTube’s public policy does not explain how it will assess every individual situation, so it is not possible to predict an enforcement outcome for a particular appearance or collaboration.

If only livestreaming is restricted
A livestreaming restriction is distinct from a full channel termination, but it also rules out going live through another channel while the restriction is active. YouTube Help says: “If your account has been restricted from live streaming, you’re prohibited from using another channel to live stream on YouTube.” YouTube characterizes violating this rule as circumvention, which may result in termination. What to do after a Community Guidelines termination
- Review the termination notice. Check the reason YouTube gave for the action and the instructions associated with your case.
- Open YouTube Studio and review the termination details. YouTube directs creators to review the reason there and submit an appeal through Studio.
- Submit an appeal through the current Studio flow. YouTube’s help page says creators may appeal up to one year after termination and may submit up to two appeals during that year, subject to limits for an individual termination. Follow the notice and the options currently shown for your case. See YouTube’s termination and appeal guidance
Do not try to keep streaming through another channel while waiting for an appeal. YouTube’s published termination policy prohibits that workaround; the cited help pages do not promise a particular result for an appeal.
Why streaming tools do not change the answer
Software, a different device, or a cloud streaming service does not change who is using the YouTube channel or override YouTube’s restriction. YouTube’s livestream terms require compliance with its Community Guidelines and the rights needed to stream content; they do not create an exception to termination or livestreaming restrictions.
