No. A viewer watching an ended YouTube livestream replay cannot send a new Super Chat. Super Chats are purchases made through live chat during a live stream or Premiere. An archive may show the original broadcast’s chat, including Super Chats already sent, but that replay does not reopen chat for new messages or purchases. YouTube Help describes Super Chats as live-chat purchases, and its guidance on live chat and archives distinguishes replayed chat from active chat.
It depends on whether the viewer is watching live or watching an ended stream
A channel’s 24/7 schedule does not determine whether a particular viewer can send a Super Chat. What matters is whether the broadcast they are watching is still live and has available live chat.

YouTube does not describe a special Super Chat exception for always-on gaming streams. The distinction follows from its published guidance about live chat during a broadcast and chat after it ends; the channel’s 24/7 label does not turn historical chat into an active transaction.
Why a replay can look like it accepted Super Chats
YouTube may retain live chat replay on an archived stream, and creators can turn that replay feature off. When it is on, viewers can see the original chat as it appeared during the broadcast. A Super Chat displayed there records a purchase made at that earlier time; its presence is not a way for a replay viewer to buy one now. After a livestream ends, viewers can leave comments below the video instead of sending new live-chat messages. YouTube’s live chat guidance explains this archive behavior.

What must be in place for Super Chats during the live broadcast
Even during an active stream, a Super Chat is not guaranteed to be available. YouTube lists Super Chat and Super Stickers among its YouTube Partner Program fan-funding features. The channel must meet the relevant channel and feature requirements, accept the Commerce Product Module (unless covered by YouTube’s stated older addendum provision), and enable the feature. YouTube says Supers are automatically available on eligible live streams and Premieres when live chat is turned on. Check the channel’s current Earn tab and YouTube’s monetization overview and Super Chat and Super Stickers guidance for channel-specific eligibility, which can vary by feature and may change.
Super Chat revenue share and other ways to monetize
YouTube says creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google, calculated after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees. YouTube says it covers transaction costs such as credit-card fees. The 70% figure is YouTube’s stated revenue-share calculation, not a guaranteed take-home amount for every transaction or location. YouTube Help explains the Supers calculation.

YouTube also lists ads and channel memberships as separate livestream revenue options. They are not Super Chats, and neither makes an ended stream’s historical chat accept new purchases. Ads may appear on live content or replays depending on eligibility and settings, and YouTube says ad slots are not guaranteed. See YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance.
