There is no single 10TB “lifetime” alternative identified by this headline: pCloud and Drime list 10TB lifetime offers, while a recent Internxt deal has expired. Whether either can replace Dropbox depends on current price and terms, the features you use, and whether you keep a separate backup.
Which 10TB lifetime offers are available?
As of October 4, 2026, the available information points to three different offers—not one uniquely identifiable product. pCloud’s official promotion lists a 10TB plan but does not establish an exact price here; Drime’s deal page displays an Advanced 10TB lifetime plan for $249; and the reported Internxt price was a short sale that ended before this date.

What should you check before switching from Dropbox?
A matching storage number does not establish that a plan is a Dropbox equivalent. Compare the tasks you rely on and verify missing details directly with the provider before paying.
- Sync and collaboration: Confirm that the apps, sharing controls, and collaboration workflow you need are included. Drime’s deal page lists sharing, workspaces, and collaboration; the cited offer information does not establish a feature-by-feature comparison with Dropbox.
- Version history: Drime lists 120 days of file history. Do not assume that this retention period or equivalent versioning is included in another offer unless its terms say so.
- Privacy and encryption: Drime says files are protected with encryption and GDPR-compliant EU hosting. Those are vendor claims, not independent verification; check what encryption covers and how account access and recovery work.
- Eligibility and account rules: Read the current offer terms, including whether it can be applied to your account, combined with other discounts, or moved later. pCloud’s promotion specifically restricts combining offers and transferring plans between accounts.
- Migration and export: Before canceling Dropbox, confirm that you can move your files, preserve the folder structure and sharing arrangements you need, and retrieve your data if you later leave the new provider. The cited offer details do not settle migration or export procedures.
- Total cost and refund terms: Compare the current checkout price and refund conditions rather than relying on a search result or a previously advertised sale.
What “lifetime” means—and what it does not
“Lifetime” is not a guarantee that a cloud service will operate forever. TechRadar notes that a lifetime plan may last only while the provider operates or continues to honor the offer, and that companies have removed lifetime plans. Plan wording can also define a shorter limit than the word suggests. For example, Amaryllo’s terms define a one-time payment plan as lasting “99 years or the lifetime of the account owner, whichever may be shorter.” Its separate “Unlimited Plan” lasts one year, caps storage at 10TB, and requires a transition to a standard subscription. A separate local copy protects against losing access if a cloud provider closes, changes its offer, or stops honoring a plan. For a large archive, a 10TB external hard drive can serve as an independent backup, but it is not online storage and does not replace cloud sync or collaboration. TechRadar also recommends keeping multiple local copies in case a service ends.

How to decide
- Estimate how much storage you use and list the Dropbox features you actually depend on.
- Check the provider’s official checkout and terms for current price, refund window, eligibility, storage limits, and the legal meaning of “lifetime.”
- Compare the available apps, history, sharing, collaboration, privacy details, and migration or export process against your needs.
- Test the move with a small set of files before canceling Dropbox, and verify that the files and any needed sharing workflow work as expected.
- Keep an independent backup of important data rather than making a lifetime cloud plan its only copy.
