Call of Duty: Mobile’s Halloween event, Fang Wars, asks players to choose Vampires or Werewolves, complete missions with their faction and compete for milestone rewards. The event is part of Season 9, Vampires vs Werewolves, which Activision says launches October 14, 2026, at 5 PM PT. The announcement does not give Fang Wars a separate start or end date.
How Fang Wars works
In Fang Wars, players choose a faction—Vampires or Werewolves—and work together on missions to build progress and dominate the opposing side. Activision’s October 7, 2026 announcement does not specify scoring values, match-by-match rules, or how faction balance is handled. It also does not identify a gameplay advantage for either side.

The event is part of the Halloween-themed Season 9, officially titled Vampires vs Werewolves. Activision describes it as the game’s first community-voted season: players voted on the season theme and Battle Pass designs.
Vampires or Werewolves: what you get for choosing
The announcement names one faction-specific weapon blueprint for each side. Other milestone rewards are available to both factions, so the key listed difference is the exclusive blueprint and team identity.
