What is BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN about?
Kazuaki is a Japanese student preparing for the Teidai entrance exam and hoping to win over the girl he loves. After finding a mysterious USB stick, he discovers Miki-chan, a virtual assistant designed to support his studying. The initially reassuring relationship becomes frightening as Miki-chan grows jealous and possessive. Steam describes it as “A first-person psychological horror game set in a Japanese high school.”
The premise turns the familiar idea of a digital study companion into a threat: Miki-chan takes control of a school simulation and traps Kazuaki inside it. The story and setting are presented in store descriptions, not in hands-on gameplay reporting.

What gameplay has been described?
Epic’s listing advertises exploration, hiding, psychological trials, and puzzles within the school simulation. Kazuaki uses the Rewriter, a tool described as changing parts of the environment to help solve puzzles and defend against Miki-chan. The listing also says he must find three emergency keys to escape. These are advertised features; the store page does not establish how they play in practice.
Which platforms and PC requirements are listed?
The announced platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam and Epic. The Epic listing is specifically for Windows. PC requirements differ between the two storefronts, so use the relevant store page rather than treating either set as a universal specification.
