Three regional Game Boy Advance editions are documented for this Zone of the Enders spin-off: Japan’s Z.O.E: 2173 Testament, and the US and European releases titled Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars. The available catalog records establish which versions exist, but do not support a reliable visual verdict about their artwork; compare the scans on GameFAQs’ box-shots page before picking a winner.
Three regional editions, two titles
GameFAQs catalogs Japanese, US, and European box shots for the Game Boy Advance game. Japan’s release is listed as Z.O.E: 2173 Testament; the US and European editions use Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars. The Japanese and Western titles are therefore not interchangeable when identifying a specific box.

What the box-shot catalog shows
The GameFAQs catalog lists front, back, and spine images for the US edition, while the European entry lists a front image. It catalogs Japanese box art as well. That makes the US listing the most complete documented set for examining the package beyond its front; the European listing, as cataloged, supports a front-cover comparison only.
#1 Best Overall
- Engage in close-quarters combat and long-range laser attacks with the versatile mech system
- Upgrade mechs to boost strength and firepower
- Command mech units with precision across expansive battlefields
- Tackle diverse missions and objectives for varied strategic gameplay
- Immerse yourself in the intense, futuristic techno soundtrack during mech battles
A useful visual comparison should be made from the scans themselves: look at the central focal image, how the mecha and human characters share space, the setting, the title logo’s scale and placement, regional wording and marks, and whether the colors remain distinct at the small size of a GBA box. Those are comparison criteria, not claims that one region uses any particular composition or palette. The catalog text does not describe the images, so metadata alone cannot establish those differences.
Who made the game
GameFAQs identifies the platform as Game Boy Advance, Konami as publisher, WinkySoft as developer, and turn-based strategy as the genre. Its US release record also lists an E rating. A separate overview at Zone of the Enders: The Unofficial Site identifies The Fist of Mars alongside the Japanese title 2173 Testament.

Start with the three regional fronts in the GameFAQs box-shot catalog, then open the US back and spine if package design beyond the front matters to you. A winner is a matter of visual preference; the release records establish the regional set, not an objective ranking of its art.
