How a Bootstrap accordion works
In Bootstrap 5.3, an accordion is built with the Collapse plugin. A button controls a collapsible panel: the button uses data-bs-toggle="collapse" and data-bs-target to identify the panel, while aria-expanded communicates its current state and aria-controls identifies the controlled element. Choose whether panels open independently
To make opening one panel close another in the same group, Bootstrap 5.3 uses data-bs-parent on the collapsible panels. Without that attribute, multiple panels can remain open. The documentation also describes .accordion-flush, which removes some borders and rounded corners for an edge-to-edge presentation.
Account for motion and styling
Bootstrap’s accordion animation responds to the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Bootstrap 5.3 also exposes CSS and Sass variables for properties including colors, borders, spacing, icons, and transitions, giving developers options to adapt the stock component’s appearance. That does not establish that V14’s files use Bootstrap 5.3 or that those variables will work with the downloaded template unchanged.

How to decide whether V14 fits your project
Before using the download, compare it with the requirements of the site or app where it will appear. The listing does not publish browser or assistive-technology test results, and the compatibility of the package with current Bootstrap versions has not been established.
