Invoice OCR extracts information from documents; accounts-payable automation can use that information to validate invoices, route approvals, manage exceptions, and send approved transactions to an ERP. TYASuite describes ZeroTouch AP as covering that wider workflow, but the available product information does not establish it as an industry standard or independently verify its performance claims.
OCR is a document step; AP automation is a workflow
Optical character recognition (OCR) converts text in an image or document into machine-readable text. Invoice-processing software can then identify fields such as supplier, invoice number, dates, taxes, and totals. That work can make data entry faster, but extraction alone does not determine whether an invoice is valid, who must approve it, how a discrepancy should be resolved, or whether the transaction is ready to post.
TYASuite contrasts template-based OCR and manual mapping with its description of an AI-powered system using computer vision and natural-language processing to interpret different layouts. That is the vendor’s comparison, not a neutral assessment of all OCR products: the available material includes no controlled benchmark showing that OCR systems generally require templates or cannot support broader workflows.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Document recognition can support invoice capture and extraction; the broader workflow TYASuite describes adds checks, matching, approvals, exception handling, and ERP handoff. OCR is not necessarily obsolete or incompatible with end-to-end automation.

What TYASuite says ZeroTouch AP does
TYASuite describes ZeroTouch as handling the accounts-payable lifecycle from invoice intake to ERP posting. Its product page lists email, vendor portals, PDFs, scanned invoices, and API integrations as intake channels. It says the system handles multiple layouts and formats without templates or manual mapping, and extracts supplier details, invoice numbers and dates, line items, totals, GST and other tax components, payment terms, and due dates. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independently tested results.
Validation and matching
The product page describes a 71-point validation framework. TYASuite lists checks that include duplicate and fraud detection; vendor master, GSTIN, and Udyam verification; GST and e-invoice validation; tax and policy checks; purchase-order and goods-receipt matching; and readiness for ERP posting. The stated count and checks should be treated as product claims: the available sources do not provide an independent test of their coverage or effectiveness.

In three-way matching, a system compares a purchase order, a goods receipt note, and the supplier invoice. The aim is to identify inconsistencies between what was ordered, what was received, and what was billed. Matching can help surface discrepancies; it does not prove that every invoice is correct or eliminate every payment error.

TYASuite says ZeroTouch can route exceptions, notify vendors, and direct approvals according to invoice value or organizational logic. It also describes SLA-based escalation and dashboards. Those features address work that data extraction alone does not: a mismatch or missing detail needs an owner and a defined next step. The available product information does not establish how these rules behave in a particular organization’s configuration.

ERP posting
TYASuite says approved invoices can be posted to ERP systems and lists Oracle, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, Tally, Sage, Deltek, Acumatica, Epicor, IFS, Infor, Workday, QAD, and Unit4. The list identifies brands, not verified compatibility with every version, module, configuration, or deployment. The product page does not specify connector methods, implementation effort, or contractual service levels.
What the published performance figures establish
TYASuite’s product page advertises “160+ enterprises” and “99% STP (Touchless),” along with cost, processing-time, and accuracy figures. Its brochure includes “90% Savings on Manual Work” and “99% Accuracy.” The reviewed material does not state a publication year or methodology for these figures, nor identify an independent publisher. They should not be read as independently validated benchmarks or guaranteed results for a prospective customer.

TYASuite’s product page summarizes its positioning this way: “TYASuite ZeroTouch Automation streamlines the entire accounts payable lifecycle from invoice capture to ERP posting so your finance team can focus on strategic work instead of manual processing.” This is the company’s description, not a finding from a named independent evaluator.
Is ZeroTouch AP an enterprise standard?
“The next enterprise standard” is an argument about where AP automation may be headed, not an established status for this product. The reviewed sources document TYASuite’s product description and a supporting workflow account, but no standards-body finding that ZeroTouch—or this particular architecture—is an enterprise standard. A broader workflow may be more capable than extraction alone, but that does not by itself demonstrate superiority, adoption, or standardization across enterprises.

How to assess fit before buying
A product demonstration and contract review should test the workflow against your own invoices, approval rules, ERP environment, and exception cases. Ask for evidence and specifics on the following points:
- Intake and document coverage: Confirm the channels you use and how the system handles your invoice formats, layouts, languages, and poor-quality scans.
- Extraction evidence: Ask how accuracy is measured, which fields and invoice populations are included, and whether results come from your own representative documents.
- Validation: See how duplicate checks, tax and vendor verification, and purchase-order/receipt/invoice matching behave when records disagree or data is missing.
- Exceptions and approval governance: Walk through routing, reassignment, escalation, approval limits, and controls for unusual or disputed invoices.
- ERP fit and posting: Verify your exact product version, configuration, posting behavior, error handling, and reconciliation process—not just whether the ERP brand appears on a list.
- Auditability and security: Request evidence for audit trails, access controls, data handling, and any security certifications relevant to your requirements; the reviewed product information does not establish these details.
- Delivery and cost: Clarify implementation responsibilities, rollout effort, support commitments, service levels, and total commercial terms in writing.
