Clear music and other third-party material
A game’s permission does not automatically clear every element in its soundtrack or radio stations for a separate broadcast. Review game-radio music, licensed tracks, and other third-party material independently, and remove or replace anything you cannot use. A continuous stream can still receive a claim or other rights action.

Make the replay meaningfully authored
Consider adding genuine commentary, explanation, editing, a defined theme, or another original contribution, and refresh the footage rather than airing an unchanged block indefinitely. Review ad suitability
Check thumbnails and the opening portions of videos for graphic violence or other advertiser-sensitive material. YouTube’s advertiser-friendly content guidelines include gaming-specific considerations for graphic violence in thumbnails and early video segments.
Set up and operate the continuous stream
- Prepare the source library. Assemble videos you created or are licensed to use. Check publisher terms, third-party music, and other protected material before uploading.
- Organize the programming. Build a playlist around a coherent game, series, or theme. Add new or revised footage as your library changes rather than relying on an unchanging loop.
- Configure YouTube Live. In YouTube Studio, open Create > Go live and configure the stream in Live Control Room. Set the title, description, thumbnail, audience, and visibility accurately for the content.
- Connect the sender. Copy the stream key from Live Control Room into the service or encoder supplying the feed. Treat the key like a password: do not publish or share it, and reset it if exposed.
- Start and verify. Start the cloud playback, then check Live Control Room and the public watch page to confirm that video and audio are arriving as intended.
- Monitor and maintain. Check that the stream remains live, the playlist advances as expected, and the library stays current. Recovery features can help after a dropped stream, but they do not replace checking the channel and its content.

Protect the channel from artificial engagement
Do not buy views, likes, or subscribers, and do not use viewbots. YouTube prohibits artificial inflation of engagement, including on live streams.
