There is no official, verified numerical T-GT III force-feedback preset for Gran Turismo 7 yet. Thrustmaster’s product information gives the wheel’s hardware specifications, not the game’s slider values, and the complete bundle is scheduled to launch on December 3, 2026. Until owner testing is available, use a conservative in-game setting as a personal starting point—not a confirmed T-GT III recommendation.
Are there official T-GT III settings for GT7?
No. Thrustmaster’s T-GT III product announcement describes the wheel and its features but does not give numerical values for Gran Turismo 7’s force-feedback settings. There is also no established independent T-GT III test or owner-tested setup to support a “best” number.
That means any precise recipe presented as a tested T-GT III preset would go beyond the available evidence. Settings for the original T-GT or T-GT II should not be treated as T-GT III values unless a source explicitly confirms they apply to this model. Thrustmaster’s legacy T-GT support page is for the older T-GT.
How to choose a starting point
Before model-specific testing is available, start with conservative force-feedback output in GT7 and make small adjustments to suit your preference and comfort. This is general setup practice, not a Thrustmaster-recommended T-GT III preset.

- Increase output gradually rather than assuming a higher slider value is automatically better.
- Judge the feel in the cars and driving conditions you actually use; one setting may not suit every car or every driver.
- Pay attention to comfort over a longer drive as well as the strength and detail of the feedback.
- Do not assume a particular value prevents clipping or oscillation: no verified T-GT III threshold has been established.
A meaningful tested recommendation will need to compare feedback strength and detail, clipping or oscillation behavior, comfort over a stint, and differences between car classes. Until that evidence exists, personal adjustment is more defensible than a universal number.
What the T-GT III hardware specifications tell you
Thrustmaster specifies 5 Nm constant torque and overshoot capacity of up to 10 Nm. Those are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements, and they do not translate directly into a particular GT7 slider position.

The T-GT III is an officially licensed Gran Turismo 7 wheel bundle for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Its announced availability date is December 3, 2026, with worldwide availability expected before Christmas, according to Thrustmaster. Check current local availability and retailer pricing, since those can vary.
Why older GT7 notices do not supply a T-GT III preset
Gran Turismo’s 2022 force-feedback notice concerned the original T-GT among other wheels. It described a temporary reduction in force-feedback intensity and torque after reports of excessive vibration with certain cars. That is historical context for the older model, not a setting recommendation for the T-GT III.

The Update 1.31 notice documented changes to car physics and several assist settings. Its force-feedback algorithm change was described specifically in relation to wireless-controller handling; it does not publish T-GT III wheel values.

Once the bundle is in owners’ hands, a useful guide should identify the exact in-game settings tested and explain the test conditions. Look for comparisons across cars and driving stints, with attention to feedback detail, comfort, and unwanted clipping or oscillation—not just a single number labelled “best.” Until such testing is published, no universal T-GT III value is established.
