The best spooky mobile game to stream depends on the kind of show you want: Simulacra gives chat clues to solve, Backrooms Company and Goo Goo Gaga: Scary Factory bring co-op reactions, while Fran Bow and SILT lean into unsettling puzzles and atmosphere. For faster action, consider Into the Dead 2; for story and performance, look at The Letter. Check each game’s current store listing, regional availability, price, and device requirements before planning a stream.
Choose a game for the kind of stream you want
Spooky mobile games do not all create the same kind of viewing experience. A clue-heavy story can invite chat to participate; a co-op game creates unscripted group reactions; atmospheric exploration gives you room to talk between discoveries. Use the picks below as a shortlist, not a guarantee that a title is currently available in your region or compatible with your phone.

| Game | Scare and play style | Why it may work live | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simulacra | Phone-based investigation and clue solving | Chat may help interpret messages, apps, and photos. Set a clear backseating rule before starting. | Current iOS or Android listing and regional availability; the available source does not establish current store status. |
| The Letter | Voiced, story-forward visual novel | Its voice acting and multiple playable characters can support reaction-focused play and story discussion. | Current mobile listing, platform, and regional availability; current store status is not established. |
| Fran Bow | Unsettling point-and-click adventure with chapter-based play | Narrative and puzzles give viewers time to follow along and discuss theories. | Check the current listing, price, and compatibility on your device; old pricing details may no longer apply. |
| SILT | Dark underwater atmosphere and environmental puzzles | A slower, exploratory contrast to jumpscare-led games, suited to viewers who enjoy mood and discovery. | Confirm the current listing and device requirements in your region. |
| Into the Dead 2 | First-person zombie survival with a story | Action-led play offers a faster change of pace than narrative investigation; the game is described as playable offline. | Check current platform, store listing, and compatibility before scheduling. |
| Backrooms Company | Multiplayer extraction horror | Co-op gives a group room for shared scares and coordination. Sushi Studio’s official catalog links to Google Play and Apple’s App Store. | Check the linked store listing for current regional access, device compatibility, and audience suitability. |
| Goo Goo Gaga: Scary Factory | Online co-op, including an asymmetric mode where a player can become the monster | Switching sides can give a group stream a different dynamic from team survival. | Verify current listing status, age/content fit, and compatibility for your group. |
| Very Little Nightmares | Puzzle and platform horror | A recognizable discovery lead for viewers who prefer puzzle-focused scares. | It appears in an older Streamlabs mobile-streaming article; verify current availability directly. |
| Five Nights at Freddy’s | Jumpscare-focused horror | A direct choice if you want tense reactions rather than extended clue-solving. | Streamlabs includes it as a discovery lead, not a current availability check; confirm the specific title and listing you plan to use. |
Pocket Gamer’s Android and iPhone roundups were updated June 25, 2026, and include titles such as Fran Bow, SILT, and Into the Dead 2. The older Streamlabs guide is useful for ideas such as Simulacra, The Letter, Very Little Nightmares, and Five Nights at Freddy’s, but its app availability statements should not substitute for a current store check.
Pick the scare style and interaction that suit your viewers
For chat-assisted mystery
Simulacra is the clearest fit if you want viewers to help solve clues. Decide in advance whether spoilers and backseating are welcome, then tell chat how much help you want. If you prefer to solve everything yourself, say so before the first puzzle.
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon Exclusive - 2 sided poster included in every game!
- Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst who is introverted and easily scared, representing a new type of character for the Resident Evil series. Grace will experience horror from the same perspective as the player as she learns to overcome her fears throughout the course of the story.
- For the first time ever in Resident Evil history, players will be able to freely switch between both first- and third-person perspectives throughout the game.
- An Anniversary to Remember: With March 2026 marking the Resident Evil series’ 30-year anniversary, Resident Evil Requiem marks its own milestone in the franchise.
- Pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are now open, with the bonus of Grace’s costume: Apocalypse. Please note that the picture weapon does not come with the costume, but it can be obtained in-game.
For story and atmosphere
The Letter and Fran Bow suit a stream built around narrative reactions and discussion. SILT offers a different mood: its dark underwater setting and environmental puzzles make exploration and atmosphere central. These are better starting points if you want space to talk rather than constant action.
For action or group scares
Into the Dead 2 is the action-led option among these picks. For a group session, Backrooms Company and Goo Goo Gaga: Scary Factory have multiplayer structures identified by their developers. Arrange voice chat and coordination before going live, and check the current game listing for the multiplayer details available to your group.

- A dark, enthralling 4-5 hour narrative to keep you hooked and guessing until the end. Gorgeous visuals as you traverse numerous and diverse environments, presented with a cinematic, film-like aesthetic. Ranged and melee combat with upgradeable weapons to help you survive your nightmarish journey.
- A stellar voice cast, starring Valerie Rose Lohman (What Remains of Edith Finch, Wolfenstein: Youngblood), Jonah Scott (Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Date Everything), and Aleks Le (Persona 3: Reload, Marvel Rivals, Ghost of Yotei).
- A beautifully dynamic and haunting soundtrack composed and performed by Jacob Noska, and Jonah Henthorne: members of the band Auric Echoes.
- The puzzles you encounter are more than your standard key hunt. Project Songbird rewards those with an eye for detail, making each puzzle a challenge of creativity and wits.
- The combat of Project Songbird offers a variety of approaches inspired by the classics of the survival horror genre. Melee and gunplay is slow and weighty, and ammo is incredibly scarce. However, combat isn't your only option, as you have a multitude of tools at your disposal to aid in sneaking past any creatures that wish to do you harm.
Check the practical details before you schedule
- Store and region: Open the current Apple App Store or Google Play listing for your country. A title appearing in a roundup or a studio catalog does not guarantee it is downloadable everywhere today.
- Device compatibility: Check the listing’s operating-system and device requirements, then install and launch the game before announcing a stream.
- Price and in-app purchases: Confirm the current price and purchase model on the store page. Do not rely on older roundup prices.
- Session fit: Story and chapter-based games can be divided into planned sessions; multiplayer games need time to gather players and coordinate.
- Audience fit: Review the game’s current content information and decide whether its imagery and scares suit your intended viewers.
- Controller use: A phone-compatible mobile gaming controller may reduce reliance on on-screen buttons, but support is not established for every game here. Check compatibility for both your phone and the selected title.
Stream a mobile game from your phone
Streamlabs’ older guide describes using the Streamlabs Mobile app with a game of your choice. App requirements, features, and supported destinations can change, so verify those details in the current app listing and documentation before following a setup plan.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Choose and test the game. Confirm it installs and runs on your phone, then test controls, audio, and the parts of the game you plan to stream.
- Choose a mobile streaming app. Install the current app version and check its operating-system requirements, screen-capture behavior, and destination support.
- Set up the live destination. Follow the app’s current instructions to connect or select your streaming destination. Review the broadcast title, audience settings, and any required permissions.
- Check sound and notifications. Test game audio and microphone levels. Enable Do Not Disturb or an equivalent setting to reduce private notifications appearing on stream.
- Run a short private or unlisted test where available. Check that the screen is readable, audio is balanced, and the connection is stable before beginning a public session.
- Set chat expectations. For clue games, state whether help is welcome; for co-op, confirm voice chat and group coordination before you start.
Copyright and live-stream checks
Before streaming, review the game publisher’s current streaming or fan-content policy and the platform’s rules. In-game music, licensed tracks, cutscenes, and other third-party material can raise copyright issues even when gameplay is yours. Do not assume that owning a game or purchasing its soundtrack grants permission to rebroadcast every audio track. If a game offers a streamer mode or music toggle, check its current settings and use them where appropriate.

- Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.
- Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
- The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
- The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others - through a grotesque process called Merging - to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
- This physical edition of Cronos: The New Dawn comes with bonus in-game content and a set of collectible stickers.
Keep the stream’s title, thumbnail, and commentary accurate to the content, and moderate chat in a way that fits your audience. A game’s availability and age rating can differ by region, so use the store listing relevant to your viewers as well as your own device.
