The best alternatives depend on which phone you mean: the Motorola Signature is a premium Android reference, while the HONOR 90 is a midrange model built around its display and high-resolution main camera. For the Signature, compare current premium options such as the OnePlus 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25; for the HONOR 90, consider the Google Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. These are starting points, not a current overall ranking—local price, stock, configuration and remaining software support can change which one makes sense.
Why these phones need separate comparisons
The Motorola Signature and HONOR 90 are not direct price peers. TechRadar reported UK launch prices of £899.99 for the Signature and, for the HONOR 90, £449.99 for 8GB/256GB and £499.99 for 12GB/512GB. Android Central reported a €999 Signature launch price in other global markets. These are historical launch figures, not October 2026 prices. Compare what each model costs now in your country, including whether the listing is new or refurbished.
Their camera approaches also differ. Android Central describes the Signature as having three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3x optical telephoto, while reviews of the HONOR 90 emphasize its 200MP main camera. A higher megapixel count alone does not establish better photos: consider zoom range, image processing, low-light results and video in comparable reviews or tests.
Reported specifications also put the Signature’s display at 6.8 inches, with 90W wired charging, and the HONOR 90’s at 6.7 inches, with 66W charging. Exact specifications and whether a charger is included can vary by region.

Phones to compare with the Motorola Signature
Launch coverage placed the OnePlus 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25 in the Signature’s competitive set. That makes them sensible models to investigate if you want a premium non-folding Android phone, but the available information does not establish a current head-to-head winner, prices or full comparative specifications. Check current regional listings and reviews before choosing.
Motorola Signature: the reference point
Launch reports describe the Signature with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 6.8-inch AMOLED display and 5,200mAh battery, plus 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Android Central reports a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP 3x telephoto with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide. Android Central also reported in 2026 that Motorola confirmed seven Android OS updates. Check Motorola’s current terms for your market before treating that launch-period report as the applicable commitment.

TechRadar reported a UK launch price of £899.99 and a €999 launch price in other global markets was reported by Android Central. Neither figure should be read as a current offer. January 2026 launch coverage said the Signature was launching in global markets and was not launching in the US at that time; that dated report does not establish present availability. Check your market’s stock, network bands and carrier certification.

Phones to compare with the HONOR 90
Google Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G were named as alternatives in an HONOR 90 review. They are older, review-era comparison points, not automatically the best buys in 2026. Check current stock, refurbished condition, local price and how much software support remains for the exact device you are considering.
Google Pixel 7a
In its review-era comparison, Android Authority judged the Pixel 7a stronger for overall camera performance, processor, wireless charging, IP67 water and dust resistance, and longer, more consistent software support. The review also identified tradeoffs against the HONOR 90 in display, charging speed and battery endurance. Those findings describe that comparison at the time; they are not a current test against phones available in 2026.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G
Android Authority’s review pointed to IP67 resistance, microSD expansion, stereo speakers and four years of Android updates as advantages of the A54 5G in that comparison. It also noted less RAM in the base configuration. Confirm the precise regional version and remaining update period; the review-era update figure is not a statement about how much support is left now.

HONOR 90: the reference point
TechRadar’s review describes the HONOR 90 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and 200MP main camera; Android Authority reports a 5,000mAh battery and 66W charging. In its review, Android Authority reviewer Rita El Khoury called the display “the best display I’ve seen on a mid-range phone,” describing its brightness outdoors and comfort in very dim rooms. That is a reviewer’s subjective assessment, not a lab measurement.
For UK buyers, TechRadar reported launch prices of £449.99 for 8GB/256GB and £499.99 for 12GB/512GB in 2023. HONOR UK’s store listing gives a security-update period of July 2023 through June 2026. That listing does not establish a later security commitment, so do not assume the HONOR 90 is currently security-supported; check for a newer official commitment for your region.

Before buying any of these models, compare the exact local listing and model variant. A useful shortlist check is:
Quick Recap
- Price and condition: Compare current local prices for new and refurbished units rather than relying on launch prices.
- Camera priorities: Choose based on tested image quality and whether you need a dedicated telephoto lens or favor a high-resolution main camera.
- Display: Check size, resolution, refresh rate and dimming behavior against your preferences.
- Performance: Look for comparable processor and sustained-gaming tests if demanding apps or games matter.
- Battery and charging: Compare real-world endurance as well as wired and wireless charging; confirm regional charger-in-box details.
- Durability: Verify the exact model’s water and dust resistance rather than assuming a feature carries across regional versions.
- Support: Check the official OS and security-update terms and the time remaining for the specific phone and country.
- Configuration and connectivity: Confirm RAM, storage, network bands, SIM or eSIM support and carrier compatibility for the exact SKU.
