If you want a phone that is actually branded Nokia, the best all-round pick among the current models covered here is the Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition. It is a keypad feature phone with a larger display and more communication features than a basic calls-and-texts handset. For a simpler, nostalgic phone, choose the Nokia 3210 4G; for calls, radio, and music, consider the Nokia 215 4G.
These are feature phones, not conventional Android smartphones. HMD’s current smartphone listings use the HMD brand, while its support page directs people looking for Nokia smartphones to Nokia product support. If you need Android apps, start with the HMD smartphone catalog rather than treating a Nokia keypad phone as a smartphone substitute.
Which Nokia phone is best overall?
The Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition is the strongest general-purpose choice in this shortlist if you want a Nokia-branded keypad phone with more ways to communicate. HMD lists a 2.8-inch display, front and rear cameras, Xpress chat, video calling, text chat, and voice messages. That feature mix makes it the most versatile option here, based on published specifications rather than hands-on testing. See HMD’s Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition details.
Choose it only if its feature-phone software meets your needs: it is not an Android phone, and the availability of some communication services depends on local laws, regulations, and network capabilities. Video calls can use significant mobile data. Its voice-based AI assistant has a 180-day free trial; service fees apply afterward, and a smartphone app is required to purchase a subscription.

Best for a nostalgic, simple phone: Nokia 3210 4G
The Nokia 3210 4G is the pick if what you want is a recognizable Nokia feature-phone experience with 4G and basic entertainment. HMD lists Bluetooth, Snake, and Cloud Apps for services such as news and weather. It suits a simple primary phone or a secondary handset for people who want fewer smartphone distractions, not someone who relies on Android apps. Check HMD’s Nokia 3210 4G product information.
Cloud Apps is not available on the 2024 Nokia 3210 in Europe and China. HMD describes the phone as having a long-life battery, but the available product information does not establish an independent real-world runtime figure.

It charges over Micro-USB, which may be a drawback if your other devices use a different connector. View HMD’s Nokia 215 4G specifications.

Are Nokia phones still being made in 2026?
Nokia-branded phones remain listed by HMD, including the feature-phone models in this guide. However, the current HMD smartphone catalog lists HMD-branded smartphones; it does not make the Nokia 235, 3210, or 215 Android smartphones. Availability varies by country, so a model’s presence on a product page does not guarantee it is sold or supported where you live. HMD’s phone catalog and its Nokia product pages are useful starting points for checking regional listings.
What to check before buying a Nokia phone
- Confirm the phone type. The models above are keypad feature phones. If you need Android apps, maps, banking apps, or a familiar smartphone app store, look at an Android smartphone instead.
- Check your country and carrier. Product availability and LTE bands vary by region. Confirm the exact model edition and carrier acceptance rather than assuming an import will work on your network.
- Check services and connectivity. Nokia 235 voice and video features may depend on local laws, regulations, and network capabilities. The Nokia 3210’s Cloud Apps have regional restrictions, including unavailability on the 2024 model in Europe and China.
- Factor in ongoing costs and data. Nokia 235 video calls can consume significant mobile data, and its AI assistant becomes a paid service after the stated trial. Check carrier charges and service terms before relying on either feature.
- Match the connector and media features to your routine. The Nokia 215 has Micro-USB and supports a microSD card up to 32GB; confirm those fit your charging accessories and music needs.
Other Nokia feature phones to consider
A current independent comparison also lists the Nokia 210 4G as a compact option and the Nokia 110 Power for long battery life where 2G service remains usable. These are secondary options: the Nokia 110 Power is 2G-only, and the comparison notes that bands, services, and availability vary by country. Verify official regional specifications and network support before choosing either. Read Tech Advisor’s Nokia phone comparison.
