If you want a LEGO set that specifically displays a PlayStation, choose LEGO PlayStation set 72306. It recreates the original PlayStation and its controller at near-1:1 scale, with 1,911 pieces and display-focused details. The smaller LEGO gaming sets are alternatives for a broader retro theme, but neither is a PlayStation replica.
Best LEGO PlayStation display set: set 72306
LEGO positions set 72306 as an adult-oriented model of the original PlayStation—not a current-generation console. Its near-1:1 proportions and recognizable console-and-controller design make it the clearest choice for a dedicated PlayStation display. LEGO says the design team worked with PlayStation and used original schematics to recreate details; that is the manufacturer’s account of its design process, not an independent assessment. Read LEGO’s announcement.

If PlayStation accuracy is not essential, these two sets offer different ways to bring a gaming motif to a display or build. Neither depicts a PlayStation.

Why LEGO’s PlayStation model stands out
LEGO Design Director Frédéric André said, “We wanted fans to recognize it immediately.” The quote and LEGO’s account of its collaboration with PlayStation appear in the company’s design article. The model’s console proportions, plug-in controller, working buttons, and game-inspired dioramas give it more specific PlayStation character than a general gaming-themed build.
