There is no proven universal “best” Indian VPS for a 24/7 YouTube lofi radio stream. Choose by monthly outbound transfer at your actual bitrate, CPU and RAM for your encoding method, Mumbai-region availability, restart and recovery options, support, renewal terms, and the exact traffic and SLA rules. The providers below publish relevant options, but none has been independently validated for uninterrupted YouTube streaming.
If you would rather not run an encoder on a VPS, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative for looping uploaded videos on YouTube: it runs with your computer off, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Details and pricing are at StreamNeo.
What matters most for a 24/7 lofi stream
A VPS stream is a continuous outbound workload. A fast network port does not tell you how much data the plan lets you send each month. Estimate egress from the combined video and audio bitrate, then compare it with the provider’s included outbound transfer and written overage or suspension rules.

YouTube recommends leaving 20% upload headroom above the total bitrate and says to account for both primary and backup streams if you use them. For a constant 1 Mbps, 30 days of continuous sending is about 324 GB in decimal units before protocol overhead. This is a calculation: 1,000,000 bits per second × 2,592,000 seconds ÷ 8 ÷ 1,000,000,000. Multiply by your actual combined bitrate and allow extra for overhead.
#1 Best Overall
For a mostly static lofi visual, the highest resolution is not automatically the best choice. Pick a resolution and frame rate that suit the artwork and motion, use YouTube’s current recommended bitrate table for the chosen codec and frame rate, and test the real feed. YouTube automatically transcodes live streams for different viewer formats, but that does not eliminate the need for a stable encoder-to-YouTube connection.
Indian VPS options to compare

| Option | Published details | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud service for looping uploaded videos to YouTube, with one always-on stream per slot, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. The first day is free with no card. | This is not a VPS or a camera-to-live service: it plays uploaded videos to YouTube. See the cloud option below for the steps and terms. |
| KryoHost India VPS | Mumbai location; KVM, dedicated vCPU, RAM and NVMe. The vendor says India VPS starts at $14.99/month; the first tier lists 1 GB RAM and 1 CPU core. The vendor states a 99.99% uptime SLA with credits. Automated backups and snapshots are not included. | Confirm the selected plan’s outbound transfer, CPU allocation, SLA exclusions and regional availability. Plan separately for backups if needed; do not assume they are included. |
| Endercloud India VPS | Mumbai. Published plans include 8 GB RAM, 3 vCores, 50 GB NVMe and 2 TB at ₹999/month; and 16 GB RAM, 4 vCores, 100 GB NVMe and 3 TB at ₹1,999/month. The page also lists higher plans. | A 1 Gbps port is not an unlimited monthly transfer allowance. Check renewals, overages and acceptable-use terms. |
| Infinitive Cloud | Advertises Mumbai AMD EPYC infrastructure. Starter: ₹499/month, 2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 40 GB NVMe and 1 TB bandwidth. Business: ₹999/month, 4 GB RAM, 2 vCores, 80 GB NVMe and 2 TB. The vendor advertises 24/7 support and 99.99% uptime. | These are marketing statements and published plan limits, not a stream benchmark or independently verified uptime record. Confirm what “bandwidth” counts and the applicable terms. |
| NivoHost streaming RDP | A dedicated 24/7 YouTube-streaming offer. RDP 1 lists one stream handle, 360p at 10 fps, 124 kbps audio, 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB SSD and 20 TB bandwidth. The vendor claims 99% uptime. | The page does not establish an India hosting location or independent performance. Compare its Windows/RDP requirements, support and video settings with a general VPS. |
Plan figures are not directly comparable without aligning billing duration and renewal prices, included outbound transfer, port speed, operating system, virtualization, CPU guarantees, support scope, location, taxes and SLA definitions. A vendor’s uptime percentage is a claim about its service or SLA, not proof that your YouTube broadcast will remain live.

How to choose and validate a VPS
- Set the stream format. Decide resolution, frame rate and codec based on the visual and how much motion it contains. Consult YouTube’s current recommended bitrate table for that exact combination instead of mixing values from different codec or frame-rate rows.
- Calculate monthly transfer. Use the total video-plus-audio bitrate for 24-hour operation, add protocol overhead, and include any backup stream. Compare the estimate with the plan’s included outbound traffic and get the overage, throttling or suspension policy in writing.
- Check compute needs for your actual setup. Match CPU and RAM to the operating system and encoder you intend to use. The listed VPS plans do not establish OBS or FFmpeg compatibility or performance; verify requirements and test the chosen configuration rather than inferring capacity from a generic plan table.
- Test the location and route. A Mumbai server may suit a creator seeking India-based hosting, but its location alone does not prove a better route to YouTube ingestion. Use a trial instance if available and monitor dropped frames, reconnect behavior and YouTube stream health over a meaningful test period.
- Ask about recovery and service limits. Confirm what happens during host maintenance, resource contention, traffic exhaustion and reboot. Ask whether the provider or your own process handles restarts and reconnects, what support covers, and whether an SLA offers service credits only.
- Protect the stream key. YouTube says, “Stream keys are like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” Keep it secret, restrict account access and rotate it if you believe it has been exposed. See YouTube’s stream settings guidance.
- Confirm music and artwork rights. You need appropriate rights for every track and visual in the stream. The licensing status of any particular lofi track or image cannot be assumed from its availability online.
YouTube settings and reliability checks
YouTube’s encoder guidance lists RTMP/RTMPS, H.264/H.265/AV1, up to 60 fps, constant bitrate (CBR), and a recommended two-second keyframe interval (no more than four seconds). For stereo audio, it lists AAC or MP3 at 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps. These are platform settings guidance; they do not specify the VPS size or guarantee a particular provider will work for your stream.
Rank #3
YouTube recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingestion and recommends testing before going live. Its encoder settings guidance says, “Make sure to test before you start your live stream. Tests should include audio and movement in the video similar to what you’ll be doing in the stream.” Monitor stream health and review YouTube’s messages during the test and broadcast. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions and YouTube’s streaming tips.
Illustrative H.264 recommended video bitrates in YouTube’s guidance include 360p30 at 0.4 Mbps, 480p30 at 4 Mbps, 720p30 at 3 Mbps, and 1080p30 at 14 Mbps. These are separate entries in a table of recommendations, not a progression to interpolate: select the row for your exact codec and frame rate from the current YouTube table. For a static or lightly animated scene, test that the chosen setting looks acceptable rather than assuming a higher resolution is necessary.

Troubleshooting a stream that will not stay live
- Transfer quota runs out: Recalculate from total bitrate and hours streamed, including audio, overhead and any backup stream. Check whether the provider counts outbound traffic as expected; reduce bitrate or choose a plan with sufficient included transfer if necessary.
- Dropped frames or unstable stream health: Check available outbound capacity against the combined stream bitrate and YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Test the actual route and review YouTube’s stream-health messages before changing resolution or provider.
- Encoder overload or poor output: Verify that the selected encoder settings are supported by the chosen software and that the VPS has adequate resources for that workload. The plan listing alone is not evidence of performance; test with the intended source and encoding method.
- Broadcast does not reconnect after a disconnect: Ask whether your setup or provider handles process restarts and encoder reconnection. Test recovery deliberately before relying on a 24/7 schedule; a provider’s uptime claim does not establish automatic stream recovery.
- Unexpected suspension or charges: Compare actual transfer with the plan’s quota and review its overage, fair-use and suspension terms. Ask support for the account-specific policy before launching a continuous stream.
- Stream key exposure: Rotate the key in YouTube live settings and review account access. Treat the key as a password, not as a shareable configuration detail.
