For the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s outside cover display, the clearest model-specific pick is the ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass XTR5: Google Store lists it for this phone and includes an EZ Apply installation tray. Treat it as a cover-screen protector, not as an accessory for the inner folding display. Google specifies different cover materials for the two screens, and Android Central reports that Google does not recommend removing the inner screen’s factory-installed protector.
Best Pixel 11 Pro Fold screen protector
Best confirmed fit: ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass XTR5
Google Store’s listing specifically names the Pixel 11 Pro Fold as compatible with the ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass XTR5. The clear aluminosilicate tempered-glass protector comes with an EZ Apply tray, microfiber cloth, cleaning wipe and dust-removal sticker. Those details make it the most directly supported choice for protecting the phone’s outside cover screen. See the Google Store product listing.
Google Store displayed a price of $59.99 when accessed on October 4, 2026; check the listing for the current price and availability. The listing also says the XTR5 is “tested up to 11x stronger than basic glass screen protectors.” That is promotional language from the product listing, not an independently verified head-to-head result.

Android Central’s August 14, 2026 guide names Spigen GlasTR EZ FIT as an outer-screen option and dbrand Prism 2.0 for a case-free setup with greater coverage. These are editorial recommendations, not comparative test results. Before buying either, verify that the current product SKU explicitly fits the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and check case fit and return terms. Protect the cover screen, not the inner folding screen
The Pixel has two distinct displays. Google lists a 6.5-inch (164 mm) external cover display with glass-ceramic cover glass and an 8-inch (204 mm) internal folding display made with Ultra Thin Glass. The outside display is the appropriate target for an added conventional screen protector; do not assume that a cover-screen glass protector is suitable for the folding display. Google’s Pixel hardware specifications describe the display materials and sizes.

Android Central reports that Google does not recommend removing the inner display’s factory-installed protector. Keep that layer in place, and do not add another protector over it unless Google’s current device-care instructions specifically say to do so. The exact caution here is attributed to Android Central rather than presented as a direct quotation from Google. Android Central’s Fold protector guide.
Fingerprint Unlock: check fit and certification
A protector can affect fingerprint sensor performance. Google recommends Made For Google certified protectors and says to scan the QR code on the package after applying the protector but before enrolling fingerprints. Google also cautions that sensor performance may still be worse than with no protector. Use a protector made for the exact phone model and screen size: scanning a mismatched product’s QR code will not optimize fingerprint unlock. Google’s Fingerprint Unlock protector guidance.

How to choose and apply an outer-screen protector
- Match the phone and screen. Choose a product explicitly labeled for Pixel 11 Pro Fold and confirm it protects the external cover screen, not the inner folding display.
- Check the package for certification details. If fingerprint compatibility matters, look for Made For Google certification and the QR code Google instructs users to scan.
- Check your case and coverage preference. If you use a case, verify the protector’s edge coverage leaves room for it. For a case-free setup, confirm the product’s stated coverage and exact Fold fit.
- Follow the manufacturer’s installation steps. Use the included alignment tray if supplied, and keep dust off the adhesive area. Do not treat the tray as a substitute for the product’s instructions.
- Set up fingerprint unlock after application. Scan the package QR code before enrolling fingerprints, as Google recommends. If recognition is less reliable, remember that Google warns a protector can reduce sensor performance.
