Archive and discoverability
YouTube’s archive guidance says streams shorter than 12 hours may be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube also recommends: “We recommend recording a local archive as a backup.” Keep the original sermon files and plan separate uploads or shorter segments for an organized archive. Recovery, support, and limits
Ask what happens after a dropped connection or platform interruption, how the stream is monitored, and what support is available. Distinguish documented vendor claims from independent reliability evidence: the available descriptions for StreamZop and LiveGoLive are vendor claims, and independent reliability evaluations were not established here. Compare storage, quality, channel or slot counts, and operating limits against the actual media library and schedule.
How the YouTube encoder workflow fits
