For a budget-focused YouTube Live encoder, shortlist the AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB first. AMD lists AV1, HEVC and H.264 encoding support, and India price-tracker entries put several RX 7600 boards below many RTX 4060 listings. That makes it a credible candidate—not a proven cheapest card or a guarantee of 4K60 gaming performance.
First clarify what “4K60” means for your setup: encoding an already-produced 4K60 feed is different from rendering a demanding game at 4K60 on the same PC. AMD describes the RX 7600 as designed for 1080p gaming and streaming, so its encoder support does not establish that it can render every game at 4K60. AMD’s RX 7600 specifications and YouTube’s encoder guidance help define the parts of that decision, but you should test the complete system before committing to a live broadcast.
Which budget GPU should you shortlist?
AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB: the budget-first candidate
AMD lists hardware encoding for AV1, HEVC and H.264 on the RX 7600. A 2026 India GPU tracker showed RX 7600 board entries around ₹24,500–₹27,595. These are tracker figures, not guaranteed checkout prices: stock, delivery charges, warranty and exact board variant need checking with the seller. The same AMD specifications list 8GB GDDR6 memory, 165W typical board power and a minimum recommended 550W power supply.

It is not evidence that a particular game will render at 4K60 while streaming. AMD positions the card for 1080p gaming and streaming; same-PC 4K gaming needs a game-specific performance check and a real test of your chosen settings.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB: an AV1 alternative
NVIDIA’s OBS guidance documents AV1 support for RTX 40-series cards and YouTube AV1 support. The RTX 4060 has 8GB GDDR6 memory and uses Ada Lovelace architecture. The 2026 India tracker showed RTX 4060 board entries around ₹28,000–₹34,500. The ranges overlap only in some cases; they do not prove which exact card is better value or available at checkout. Consider it if you prefer NVIDIA’s OBS workflow or need other NVIDIA software features, but compare the exact board and delivered price rather than assuming the brand determines value.
Intel Arc A380: a specialized encoder possibility
Intel’s product guide describes AV1 streaming and use in a dedicated streaming rig or as a secondary encoding card. It may suit a purpose-built encoding role, but the available evidence does not establish current India pricing or stock, or whether it is suitable for rendering a game at 4K60 on the same PC. Verify those points before treating it as a budget alternative.

What YouTube requires for 4K60
YouTube supports RTMP/RTMPS ingestion, H.264, H.265/HEVC and AV1 video, with frame rates up to 60 fps. Its published 4K/2160p-at-60-fps bitrate guidance differs by codec:
| Codec | Minimum video bitrate | Recommended video bitrate |
| AV1 or H.265/HEVC | 10 Mbps | 35 Mbps |
| H.264 | 14 Mbps | 50 Mbps |
These are YouTube Help figures accessed in 2026; the page’s publication date is not stated. The recommended bitrate depends on the codec, so do not treat one number as a universal 4K60 target. YouTube says it automatically transcodes live streams for viewers. Its guidance also says to test with similar audio and movement before going live. Read YouTube’s live encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions guidance.
Choose for the job your PC actually has
If the GPU mainly encodes an existing feed
Compare supported codecs, image quality at your intended upload bitrate, the encoder workflow you will use, system stability and the exact local card price. Dedicated hardware encoding can offload encoding work, but it does not make the entire stream independent of the PC: the source, capture or playback, audio, software and network still need to work together. The RX 7600 is the clearest budget-first candidate in the available India tracker evidence; the RTX 4060 is a credible AV1 option when its workflow or features suit you.

If the same PC must render a game at 4K60
Do not buy based only on an encoder feature list. Check performance for the specific game, graphics settings and desired output resolution, then test gameplay and streaming together. The available specifications and price tracker do not establish an independent same-PC 4K60 gaming result for either the RX 7600 or RTX 4060.

If you stream a pre-rendered video
The GPU’s task may be lighter than rendering a demanding game, but you still need a reliable playback and encoding setup, a stable internet connection and a YouTube-compliant bitrate. Test the actual video—including its motion and audio—before scheduling or starting a public stream.
Check these five things before buying in India
- Compare exact in-stock listings. Confirm the board model, current checkout price, delivery cost and warranty terms; tracker ranges are not proof of an available offer.
- Decide whether the card also renders the source. Encoding an existing feed and rendering a game at 4K60 are different workloads.
- Match codec and upload capacity. Use YouTube’s codec-specific bitrate guidance, then check that your upload connection can sustain the stream with headroom.
- Check power and space. For the RX 7600, AMD specifies 165W typical board power and recommends a minimum 550W PSU. Confirm the exact board’s dimensions and power requirements against your case and power supply.
- Test the complete setup. Use a private or unlisted test stream with representative movement and audio, and review stream health before relying on it live.
Bitrate, upload bandwidth and stream quality
YouTube’s recommended video bitrate is not a promise that your internet connection can sustain it. Measure upload performance under the conditions in which you plan to stream, and allow for variation rather than operating at the connection’s limit. NVIDIA’s OBS guidance suggests using roughly 75% of measured upload bandwidth for the stream and notes that high-motion scenes can show more artifacts when bitrate is constrained. Treat that as NVIDIA guidance, not an ISP guarantee; YouTube’s codec-specific figures remain the platform reference for 4K60.

- This low profile video card is good value option for entry level, if you just want basic upgrade graphics and daily simple work for your computer, or not be AAA gamer.(include low profile bracket)
- No external power supply and the all-solid-state capacitor keeps low power consumption and high performance, supports Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP(not compatible with windows 11).
High motion, detailed scenes and fast gameplay can make compression artifacts more visible. A stream can also fail or become unstable because of the network, software, system load or configuration—not only because of the GPU. Test the content and settings you will actually use instead of judging quality from a static screen.
Common problems and what to check
- Stream drops or buffers: Check YouTube stream health and sustained upload capacity first. Lowering the selected bitrate may help if the connection cannot reliably sustain the target; retest at the new setting.
- Blurry or blocky fast movement: Confirm that the selected codec and bitrate match YouTube’s 4K60 guidance, and test a representative high-motion scene. If upload capacity is constrained, reduce bitrate only with the understanding that image quality may suffer.
- Encoder overload or skipped frames: Separate rendering load from encoding load. Check whether the PC is rendering a demanding game at the same time, close unnecessary workloads, and test a lower render load or output setting.
- Unexpectedly poor value at checkout: Recheck the exact board, stock, delivery charge and warranty. Tracker entries do not confirm final price or availability.
- PC will not fit or power the card: Check the specific board’s physical dimensions and power connector requirements, not just the GPU family name. For the RX 7600, compare your PSU with AMD’s 550W minimum recommendation.
