There is no single best affiliate network for every creator. Choose based on what your audience already wants, the countries you can serve, your publishing channels, and whether you meet the program’s admission rules. For product recommendations and a creator storefront, consider Amazon’s Influencer Program; for browsing many advertiser offers, look at Awin; for an entrepreneurship-focused audience, consider Shopify’s direct affiliate program. Impact.com’s referral program is a different fit: it rewards recommendations of partnership software to brands, not ordinary consumer-product referrals.
How these options differ
“Affiliate network” can mean a platform that gives publishers access to many advertisers, a merchant’s own referral program, or a creator-focused storefront program. Those are not interchangeable. A large directory does not guarantee that a particular advertiser is available to you, and a program’s headline opportunity does not establish what a creator will earn.
| Program | Best fit | What it offers | Important eligibility or terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Influencer Program | Creators whose audience shops for products that Amazon sells | Personal storefront, commissionable links, shoppable photos and videos, and livestream opportunities through Amazon Live | Applicants need a qualifying social account; Amazon considers content quality, engagement, and follower count. Earnings vary by creator and product category. |
| Awin | Creators who want to find and compare advertiser campaigns across niches | Advertiser directory, tracked links, and images for campaigns | Advertiser availability and commission terms differ. Publisher registration requires a refundable US$1 security deposit, according to Awin. |
| Shopify Affiliate Program | Creators with an audience interested in entrepreneurship, ecommerce, or Shopify | Referral links, with tracking and payment handled through Impact | Applicants need an active website, an established audience, original content, and relevant experience. Applications are reviewed. |
| Impact.com referral partner program | Creators whose audience includes brands or partnership professionals | A referral opportunity to recommend Impact.com or introduce brands to its partnership platform | This is a business-to-business software referral program, not a general consumer-product advertiser program on Impact. |
The descriptions above reflect the programs’ official pages; program terms and availability can change. Check the current terms for your country and channel before applying.
Which program fits your audience?
Amazon Influencer Program: product discovery and a storefront
Amazon describes its Influencer Program as an extension of its affiliate network for social creators. Its personalized storefront and commissionable links can suit a creator who regularly helps viewers choose products. The program also describes shoppable photos and videos and livestreaming through Amazon Live, alongside other opportunities on its program page.
#1 Best Overall
Amazon says applicants need a qualifying account on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, or Facebook. It considers content quality, engagement, and follower count; the page does not establish a universal follower threshold. Amazon lists availability in more than 20 countries, including the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, India, Brazil, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Belgium, Mexico, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Türkiye. Confirm that applications and relevant program terms are currently available in your market.
Do not treat a storefront or an accepted application as a guarantee of income. Amazon says earnings vary by creator and product category, and qualifying purchases still matter.
Rank #2
Awin: browse campaigns from many advertisers
Awin’s publisher platform is aimed at creators, influencers, bloggers, vloggers, and other publishers. Its directory lets publishers explore advertiser brands and campaigns, then create tracked links or images. Advertisers set their own offers and terms, and commissions are paid for approved referred sales, so search the directory for brands that match your niche and audience rather than choosing Awin by its overall scale alone.
Awin’s current publisher page reports over 30,000 brands and over 1 million publishers. These are Awin’s own undated figures, not independently audited counts. The page also says publisher registration requires a refundable US$1 security deposit; check its current registration terms before signing up.
Rank #3
Shopify Affiliate Program: an ecommerce-oriented direct program
Shopify’s program is a narrower match than a broad advertiser directory. It is intended for applicants with an active website and established audience, original content, and experience with commerce, entrepreneurship, Shopify, or another ecommerce platform. Shopify reviews applications, so having a social account alone does not satisfy the stated active-website requirement.
Accepted affiliates create referral links. Shopify says tracking and payment are handled through Impact, and the amount varies based on the referred merchant’s location and contract terms. Review the terms that apply to your own application instead of assuming one rate applies to every referral.
Rank #4
Impact.com referral partner program: recommend partnership software to brands
Impact.com separately invites creators, publishers, podcasters, and consultants in partnership marketing to recommend its platform or introduce brands. This is relevant when your audience includes businesses or people who work in partnerships; it is not the same as joining Impact to promote consumer products.
Impact.com’s page advertises “up to $30,000 per referral” and says 5,000+ creators, agencies, and tech partners earn by recommending the platform. Those are vendor claims on its current page, with no publication year displayed in the reviewed material. The maximum is not typical earnings, and the page does not establish expected income for a creator.

A practical way to choose
- Start with the audience’s existing needs. List the products, services, or business tools your audience already asks about. A program is only useful if it has relevant offers your audience can actually access.
- Check country and channel eligibility. Confirm that you can apply from your country and that the program accepts your kind of website or social channel. For Shopify, an active website is a stated requirement; a social profile alone is not enough.
- Match the promotion format to your content. Decide whether links, a storefront, shoppable media, or business referrals fit the way you publish. A storefront can organize product picks; a directory can help when you need to find advertisers across multiple categories.
- Read the qualifying-action rules. Find out which click or action earns credit and which purchases or signups qualify. Do not assume that a click, a sale, or a signup is treated the same across programs or advertisers.
- Compare the economics in the actual offer. Check advertiser-level commission terms, reversals, thresholds, payment timing, and payout options. Compare like with like: different product categories, qualifying actions, and customer locations do not produce a meaningful rate comparison.
- Estimate the upkeep. Consider how you will find offers, create and update links, check reporting, and keep recommendations relevant. A program that is easy to join may still take time to manage well.
Questions to settle before you join
- Are the brands or offers you want available to publishers in your market?
- Does the program accept your channel and content format, and are there application requirements you do not yet meet?
- What event earns commission, and what circumstances can reverse or disqualify it?
- What are the current payout timing, threshold, and available payment methods?
- Can you explain why each recommendation suits your audience, and make any required commercial relationship disclosures clearly?
The official program descriptions do not provide a like-for-like performance study or comparable typical earnings for these options. There is no evidence-based universal ranking by income. Choose by audience fit and verified, current terms.
A separate tool for creators running an always-on YouTube channel
Affiliate programs help monetize recommendations; they do not keep a video stream online. If you also run a YouTube channel with prerecorded videos playing continuously, StreamNeo is a separate cloud service: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops the uploaded videos from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It supports the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; it is one free day per account. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. See current plans or start your free day.
