For a useful comparison, check the actual product documentation for the workflow you need: does it capture live video from a phone, move data through a cloud messaging system, or broadcast prerecorded video as a scheduled or continuous YouTube stream? Also check how it creates the broadcast, what channel authorization or stream setup it requires, and what controls it provides for scheduling and monitoring. Do not infer those capabilities from a similar product name.
How to choose for an Indian YouTube channel
If you want to stream from a phone camera
A mobile streaming app may be relevant, but the available description of Astra Streaming Studio does not verify its current YouTube integration, broadcast setup, supported devices, or continuous-stream controls. Monetization depends on YouTube, not the streaming tool
Using an automation service does not grant YouTube Partner Program (YPP) eligibility or guarantee monetization. YouTube says applicants must follow monetization policies, live in an eligible country or region, have no active Community Guidelines strikes, enable two-step verification, have access to advanced features, and link or set up an AdSense for YouTube account. The higher ad-revenue eligibility route requires 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the previous 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the previous 90 days. Reaching a threshold leads to a channel review; acceptance is not automatic. YouTube Help states: “If it meets our policies and guidelines, we’ll accept your channel into YPP.” Check YouTube Partner Program overview and eligibility.
Loops also raise a separate content-policy question. YouTube’s inauthentic-content policy says repetitive or mass-produced material is ineligible for monetization. A stream does not become monetizable merely because it is presented as live or run through a third-party service. Check that you have the necessary rights to the video and other material, and review YouTube’s channel monetization policies before building a repeated-stream strategy.
Which YouTube features may be available in India?
YouTube lists fan-funding features such as memberships and Supers, as well as Watch Page Ads, Shorts Feed Ads, and Premium revenue for eligible partners. Requirements can vary by feature and channel, so check the current eligibility shown in YouTube Studio rather than assuming a feature is available to every Indian creator.

Google announced Gifts for creators in India on 7 July 2026. Google also reported that the number of Indian YouTube channels earning seven figures or more in INR grew “over 20% year-over-year”; the post does not state the underlying comparison period beyond year-over-year. It reported that “92%” of surveyed Indian creators agreed YouTube helps them foster a deep community with their audience, but did not provide survey-method details on the cited page.
