YouTube requirements and limits to plan around

A stream key and a broadcast event are not the same thing
YouTube distinguishes a liveStream, which represents the audio-video feed configuration, from a liveBroadcast, which represents the scheduled event. A channel can reuse stream settings across scheduled broadcasts, while each broadcast remains a distinct event. Choose based on the source you need to broadcast. Astra’s published feature list describes live mobile capture and recording; it does not confirm prerecorded-file looping. Technical ability to send a feed does not grant permission to use its content or guarantee that YouTube will allow a channel to remain live or monetize.
